Nice little rooms, kitchen, comfortable beds, nice living room with modern TV. Nice creek out back. The property is clean and well maintained. I don't have any complaints.

Pleasant surprise! We enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was very nice, could have stayed longer for sure. Quiet place to get away from everyone. We were on our way to Cooperstown, NY and though this would be a convenient overnight stop. Glad we did. 2 Thumbs Up!

Stayed two nights at the Maple cabin. Excellent little cabin, fantastic night sky view in open grass area nearby adjacent to creek, cozy furnishings, and close distance to both Cherry Springs park and the PA Grand Canyon.

My family stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate rate my grandparents anniversary. We were pleasently surprised with this place. It was very clean and decorated like a lodge should be. It held 10 people comfortably although some of the beds weren't as comfortable as others. There is a huge back yard with fire pit and stream with a small waterfall that's very relaxing to listen to. Golf courses are nearby and worth the 20 minutes drive if you play.

My husband and I stopped here for the night on a tour of small towns of PA. Check in could not have been easier, and the cabin was clean and comfortable. Only (minor) complaint was that there was no cell phone service and the Wi-fi was not very strong (but I suppose that is something that people who vacation in this part of PA are looking for - to get away from it all!!) We only stayed over one night, as we were on our way to a specific tour the next morning, but I will remember this place when we want to take a longer trip in North-Central PA so we can explore the grounds and surrounding area a little more.

One of the best places in pa to do some great pa trout fishing caught 3 fish over 16" in pine creek right outside cabin door. The pine creek area is one of the most beautiful places left in the northeast.

our family spent 2 nights and 3 days in the OAK cabin of the Rough Cut Lodge and absolutely LOVED it! the actual cabin accommodations and the grounds of the property were unbelievably beautiful! everything was perfectly in working order and maintained from the cleanliness of the cabin - with full kitchen supplied with microwave, toaster and coffee maker. as well as more than enough room for 5 people. and the grounds were breathtaking with fire pits supplied by fresh cut wood, a sparkling flowing stream, gazebo that lights up at night , a pavilion and more than enough room for our 90 # dog to roam with delight! the outside of the cabin also had a surrounding deck and table to enjoy eating or just playing games and taking in the view. the location was key as well - the grand canyon hiking and biking trails (where you will see much wildlife - we even saw a bald eagle) is just a quick 10 minute drive away! my only regret is that we did not stay longer, and cannot wait to return. the long drive was worth it!
