Absolutely heartbroken to learn this place is now closed. It was my favorite campground in PA.

Showed up to check in for a long holiday weekend with our family. When we arrived at our location there was a low wire hanging over our site. We could not get our camper in without the wire hitting the top of the camper. I went to the office for assistance or to possibly get a different site. They sent a gentleman over to our site and he said he would fix the problem. He left and came back with a bungee cord to pull the wire up. Now the tree right next to the site where he tied the wire was completely rotted at the bottom. The wire still hit the top of the camper. I should also add this is not the first time the wire was questioned because there was a green tie strap hanging around the tree already. When we went to check out the electric hook up the entire pole was leaning and loose. It is supposed to storm tonight and we weren't too sure the pole wouldn't blow over. We chose not to stay. The entire property is very run down and not well maintained. Overall we would not recommend this property at all. We found another camp ground in the valley that is cheaper, safer, and so much better maintained.

Our family has been going to this place for years. It's wonderful, tucked away in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania, and we love that there are many options depending on what level of camping or RV-ing people want to do. Very peaceful, clean, quiet, and affordable.
