I love this stadium. Sure, it's because I love all things "Purdue", but it really a great old-school stadium. Bleacher seating may be hard on the buns, but at least you can spread your legs without getting thigh bruises from the arm rests. There are great views from anywhere. The variety of concession choices is good, but sometimes they aren't all open or they run out of food (this is why I took away a star). The party zone in the south end zone was a nice idea, but it's too crowded and the massive jumbotron speakers over your head are deafening (literally).

Not a big stadium compared to some other B10 teams. Definitely smaller than it looks on TV. Easy entrance/exit and pretty laid back. Like most sporting events you can't bring much of anything in. They serve beer (including craft beer from a local microbrewery, people's brewing) and very low quality cheap wine for the ladies. Concessions are very expensive, which is also normal for sporting events. This place gets very cold, so prepare and dress for that if you are going late in the season. Below freezing temperatures are not unusual here.

Great place to watch a game! To Joe Barrett, Yes you can buy alcohol but you have to go to the South End Zone to get the Alcohol!

As a fan of the visiting team, I found the home fans to be much nicer than the home fans at a couple other B10 stadiums. The problem was with the concessions. I'm not sure if it was stadium wide, but the concession area at our section was already running out of food by the half at the same time it was serving room temperature bottled water. If you know in advance that you're expected to have your first sellout in 9 seasons and that the temp is going to be 90+, extra food and bottled water should top priorities. Ross-Ade staff really dropped the ball on this one.

Cool place to see a college football game, especially if you have seats near the center, up close. Some fun halftime/between play activities at Purdue games, as well.

Stadium is state of the art for 1975. However it is a wonderful place to experience college football. Intimate facility. No frills. Wide concourses. Plenty of concessions. Plenty of parking. Super friendly fans. A throwback.

Plan on cramped leg space, and I'm short. Thankfully it was a practically empty stadium so I could stretch out my legs
