I called on Rose Auto Clinic to do a pre-purchase inspection on a used car I was looking at purchasing from Elite Auto in Fredericksburg. I am from Vermont, shopping for a southern rust free car, and was planning to purchase the used car sight-unseen if it was what it was represented to be. Darwin and the others at Rose Auto were able to fit the job in with very short notice, and they were easy to deal with. They picked up the car from the dealer and did a thorough inspection. The detailed report was very helpful, and I ended up purchasing the car.
My wife and I had the car shipped to Vermont sight-unseen. We could not be more pleased with the car, and we give credit to Rose Auto Clinic for helping us with an accurate and helpful evaluation. Do not go to this auto shop they will brake your vehicle and you have to come back and fix it again. They did it to me and i went to another mechanic and they show me what they did. Do not go to this auto shop

If you have ever wonder "Is there anyone who is HONEST and REAL?" YES!! EVERYONE here is complete in their work, never a long wait (unless pre-arranged work) and is clean, with plenty of seating!! Plus they do inspections! And the $$ is reasonable!!

Thus is a great place to take your vehicle to get serviced. The folks here are fair and honest, if there is someone that can do the job for less he will tell you. Fast and friendly service.

I went in to see why my car was idling low and cutting off.. they claimed it was sludge in the motor and it was causing a false sensor to go off. They told me to "bring it in every 500 miles to get an oil change for the next couple 1000 miles and it will work itself out" this sounded weird but as I drove it, it just got worse so I took the car another shop Turns out my oil screen broke there was no sludge or back up issue. Rose charged me 375 dollars to basically turn off the light and flush the fluids which did nothing. To top it off the man who worked on my car literally said " the build up is making the engine act STUPID" didnt even attempt to give me an actual answer as to what stupid was supposed to mean almost as if he didnt know. This other place is charging me 150 to actually fix the problem.

I have been using Rose's since I had my first car 15 years ago. They are honest and competent. I would not go anywhere else.

Lied to my face in addition to telling me two different stories. I went in to replace a lower ball joint and an inspection. They failed my inspection due to what they said were my front brakes and rotors not the weird even though the front had just been replaced for months prior though the rear past and had not been replaced in over a year . They then tried to tell me they did not fail me due to meeting new rotors which were also replace five months prior yet on the sheet they gave me clearly stated rotors so lied to my face and tried to rip me off I'm assuming because I'm a female
