Rosario resort is a very interesting place and worth a visit. The history is fascinating. Try to be in the lodge at 4pm for the piano and organ recital and slide show. The docent is very entertaining and seeing the old photos and hearing the old pipe organ play is worth the visit. We have had dinner at Rosario twice. Let's just say it was big on atmosphere and expense, and less on a hearty meal. Overall the resort seems past it's prime, it could use some sprucing up, there were some repairs going on in the marina, but various buildings were unkept, the fountain could have been a set in a scary movie. We walked within 10 feet of a buck deer on one of the paths, that was pretty neat.

The resort is a little dated. For the money, I expected much more. There's a main house and it is where you check-in and where the restaurant is located. It's charming but it is right on the cusp of bring run-down. The decor is dated, the carpet dirty, and there were ceilings and walls in obvious states of disrepair. It felt tired and melancholy. The rooms were very clean, the bedding comfy, but the mattress was old and a little saggy. The walls between room were very thin and the shower head was old but the bathroom was immaculate. The buildings where the rooms were needed some love too. Several near the main house looked run-down, sorely in need of some paint. The grounds were gorgeous and very well maintained. It's a beautiful setting for a resort and with some modernization it could be spectacular. The view would be the only reason I'd stay there again.

Lovely location, friendly staff, amazing views. The hotel is charming and very well kept, the grounds are beautiful, and the resteraunt had wonderful service, view, food, and drinks-even fireside puzzles and games to play while lounging on the chesterfield sofas in front of the massive fireplace over your morning coffee or tea. I would recommend a stay at this resort for the travelers that enjoy their accommodations to have all the amenities paired with outstanding full service. If you don't go for an overnight be sure to have a meal or a cocktail overlooking the bay.

This is my favorite happy place to bring the boat to and stay at. Sure the resort is a bit old but the prices are right and affordable. The spa is our favorite for hot tub, pool overlooking the bay, and a world class restaurant.

This place was EXCELLENT! We had a wonderful time there. This was probably literally the last place in the world that I expected to find a gourmet restaurant and a craft cocktail bar. All dining options were delicious and everyone was very accommodating and friendly.

The overall hotel and wedding venue was great. The price for our stay was a little over priced especially when they are still doing renovations. Housekeeping was sweet but restaurant staff was lacking service skills.

Great visit at historic Rosario. Staff went out of their way to ensure outstanding experience. Scenery was spectacular. Room was expansive with wonderful view. Be sure to have transportation- either a rental booked in advance or your own vehicle.

Beautiful island, and the spa was great. We were attending a wedding held at the resort and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Only problem is the buildings can be somewhat spread out and the roads aren't super well maintained.

This place is magical!! Such a beautiful resort and marina. We were so grateful to be here for one night. The food is amazing and there is a hot tub and pool!! Love it!!

Service was great, fantastic views, food was mediocre. I can cook better salmon at home, the steak was cold, and the chicken was undercooked! We came here for a very special event. I traveled across 3 states with two children to spend time with family I haven't seen in many years for a memorial dinner and they could not accommodate us and my children and I had to sit across the room. We had 21 people in our party and the bill was close to $1,600.00. If that was my business, I would make sure food is cooked to perfection, served hot and no family should have to be separated.

Rosario is the former estate of Seattle mayor and shipbuilder Robert Moran.
Rosario Mansion and museum is full of rich history. Is it haunted? See for yourself.
I would highly recommend!
We live in the city it was a nice weekend getaway.
We stayed on the Hillside. Our waterfront room had a spectacular view!
The entire staff has impeccable hospitality!!
Incredible experience dinning at the Mansion Restaurant. Every table has waterfront view.
Bob was our server he was amazing!

The location of the hotel is amazing! We hadon't a beautiful view of the harbor from our room. My wife and I really enjoyed the museum upstairs. It was fascinating learning about the owner of the Moran hotel. The front desk staff were pleasant and accommodating.
The food at their restaurant was delicious and the service was quick and pleasant. They did stick us too close to the heater which became unbearable after a while however.
We also enjoyed a massage at their spa. My masseuse was professional and amazing except for the fact that I asked her not to touch my feet and she did so any way.
The only complaints I have is the road quality there was horrendous. They also did not provide tissues in our room which I found a little weird.response / report this review -

The rooms have great views with a balcony attached to each room. Comfortable beds and "quiet hours" for the rooms. Spa services were amazing and relaxing. Pricing for the spa was expensive, as was the restaurant, so just be really to spend some money.
