  I just love going to the library to rent movies to watch I can rent up to 10 of them. I've had the library tell me on a couple different occasions though that I didn't return a movie when I did and I ended up having to pay for them which was a bummer. So now I always count the number of movies that im returning to make sure im returning 10 of them and also I walk them into the lady at the desk to return them rather then the drop box. I do prefer the ferndale branch to shop for movies as there I can rent as many movies as I want to.

  I♡ my library! I probably spend the equivalent of at least an hour every week there. I reserve stuff online and pick it up when it's ready or I drop stuff off and browse the CD'S and DVD's they have available. I take paperwork to complete for mailing at the post office ,that's only one block away. I USE my library , and I still have the original card that I got in 1987,when I first moved to Bellingham!

  The collection at the Bellingham public library is fantastic. The service to its community, and the use the community makes of the library are extraordinary. We are so lucky to have it. Thank you!

  So many books have disappeared in the wave of moving toward 'ebooks' instead and then the ebook selection leaves you wanting. Of actual physical items you can check out - don't trust the system to notify you of your holds. I've gotten fined for items not getting picked up that I was never notified about coming in. The two stars is earned only for the politeness of their security staff.

  Great local Resource. I do wish they were open on Sundays though. Seems like a good relaxed day to browse books that you might need for the week. With that said, they are open 6 days a week!
