  Our backyard project is almost done thanks to Kirsten, Javony and Manny working this past Saturday. Kirsten and Javony actually stayed until almost 9pm Saturday. Kirsten's vision is incredible, her expertise turned our backyard into a masterpiece including a new golf green complete with a rough and sand trap..

  Well I WAS going to use them. I saw them at a home show and they talked a good talk. When I called to set up a time to get an estimate on a deck I was transferred to an extension that just had some generic voice greeting on it. Who knows who I was transferred to. I called back, transferred again to the same place so I left a message. By the next afternoon no one had called back. I called again and tried 3 times to get someone to even answer the phone. If I can't even get a hold of them then I can only imagine what they would be like if I actually hired them.

  Went in to check on job for son. Manager said she would love to have a tree expert on staff. When my son went in an hour later, she said they didn't need tree experts. Really jerked him around. Waste of time.

  Worst Experience EVER! This is my Third spring/summer in the area. The first two I bought tons of flowers and shrubs from Rolling Meadows. This year we purchased a new home, and wanted to put in a pond in the back yard. My first thought was Rolling Meadows. I called made the appointment and took time off of work, because they don't do estimates on the weekends or evenings.
  
  The owner was the one to come out. He felt so little about doing the estimate that he arrived 1/2 an hour late. I guess my time is not as valuable as his. Though I got the distinct impression that my address was below his standard.
  
  I proceeded to try to tell him what I was looking for. He would not listen and kept interrupting me. He repeatedly told me in the 15 - 20mins. he was there "We specialize in high end ponds". I heard this phrase at least 5 times, mostly when I would say what I wanted. He would throw that phrase and tell me what he would do instead. At one point he even said "If you want to go cheap, you can go cheap. You can go right across the street there where they are building and gather yourself up some limestone." Cheap was not what I wanted, I just didn't want boulders.
  
  He quoted me an about cost with waterfall. We asked if he could provide one without a waterfall as well since we weren't sure at the time if we wanted one or not. He said he would have the estimate to me by Monday or Tuesday (he came on a Thursday). A week after he said the estimate would be ready and emailed I called to check on it, left a message. A week later I called again and left a message. A week after that I called again, asked to talk to a manager / supervisor no one was available so I left a voice mail.
  
  It has now been 6 weeks, and no estimate has hit my email and no phone calls have been returned to me. I guess he really didn't want my business, not "High-End" enough for the owner of Rolling Meadows.

  Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very satisfied with the recommendations they've made over the three years I've shopped here. The selection includes first-choice varieties that grow best here in Kansas. Plants are healthy and always pest-free--you won't find slugs hiding in anything you bring home from here. Pricing is fair. Appreciably higher quality plants than Lowe's and Home Depot.
