The ambiance was great but I found a bug in my cup and I was not pleased I still drank it but whatever the food was really good and I loved it and Tim the old man was dancing with his head and it gave it a hole star I loved it so I wish I could give 2.5 but I can’t do to bad hahaha the water was cool and wet so the norm but it was an okay experience
P.s. the fact it was next to a trailer part was unsettling but yeah @lance you were right

Being associated with a fishing legend you would think the fish would be great. Unfortunately this was not the case with my visit. I had the catfish fingers and they were awfully strong with fishy taste. I was greatly disappointed. I don't think that I will be returning.

I would of rated them higher except that we had to leave due to Hurricane Irma. We checked in on Tues, Sep 6th. I got called back to work Weds afternoon and had to check out Thurs morning at 11:38am (the day they went under a hurricane watch). They charged us for Thus night stating it was a three night min. We were there for our fishing tournament that weekend, which was canceled. I've left a message for a manager 3 times and still haven't received a return call. We stayed in a 2bd/2 bath condo, which was nice.

Stayed here for work and had a blast. They have a tiki bar and grill with local bands. Nice fishing spot and have a nice pool area.

I fished & stayed here in May of 2015. The fishing was awesome, I'm so glad I got to experience fishing on Lake O. Biggest bass I ever caught was on this trip. I wouldn't recommend staying in the fisherman's rooms though, the bed was like sleeping on cement & the room was pretty gross. The park model trailers seemed alot nicer, that would be my choice next time. The tiki bar was good, the tacos were tasty, but not much else to do around here & way too hot during the afternoon in early May to leave your room, or at least for me it was. I recommend going late winter very beginning or spring & paying extra for a better accommodation.

RENTER BEWARE have rented at roland for 30+ years and have never been so disappointed. Rented the one of the brown condos was issued #222 the owner needs to step up. I had to buy a broom, toaster, hot plate since none of the stove burners worked. No cook wear, refrig leaked had to keep a bowl in it to catch water leakage. furniture looked like old yard sale stuff was even large holes on the side where at one time was a recliner handle the carpet was so dirty thought I might need a tetnes shot just to walk on it called to get moved was told by roland staff no availability and no part refund did not even offer to pay me back for thing I had to buy. I will rent again but will asked lots of questions since I always book months in advance.

Service in the Tiki was good, server was polite and attentive, good burgers, good portions and the 2- piece live band was great !! My whole family enjoyed our unplanned memorial day lunch.

Down here for a fishing trip with the guys. We stayed here last year and had a ball. We are on day 1, and already catching big bluegills. We are staying in the trailers, and they work great for a guys trip.
