Would give 0 stars if I could. Not sure why this place has good reviews. I had a terrible experience. Saw on the website and was told by the reservation agency you could pay $24 for partial hook up (electric and water) no sign to indicate otherwise when we got there so we paid the high fee for a park which honestly isn’t even that pretty, you just see cars driving by from your campsite. Turns out water was off for the winter and we had to drive 25 min back the direction we just came in order to get some. Also the bathrooms were closed, again no indication of this before we paid. I tried to call the park office several times and no one answered or called me back. Spoke to a park worker about our issues and he just laughed. I don’t understand why we had to pay the full price when the amenities we were expecting to receive in return were not there. Honestly it’s a scam and I can’t believe that it exists in a Utah. Definitely wish we had not stayed here.

The water was really high when we visited so there wasn't much of a beach. There was also hardly any parking at all. But at least the water was nice and they had a seasonal Dickey's BBQ there.

One of the most poorly ran facilities of all of the state parks. The "New Management" is nothing short of being crooks. We fished in a Charity fishing event and placed 1st and 2nd in the event. The Rockport Marina has given us the run-around for the past two months on collecting our prizes. They have done nothing to follow through with their commitments. We've made multiple attempts to talk with them and haven't even received a call back. Drive the little bit extra distance to go to East Canyon. Yurts and camping facilities are much nicer and overall is better ran state park/facilities.

We rented a wave runner (jet ski) for 4 hours it was so awesome! I loved it. It took them 2 hours to get the ski to us because they are understaffed but in all it was a blast.

We had so much fun staying in the cabins by the marina and paddle boarding. Marina staff were very helpful and friendly.

Once we got on the lake it was great, there's only room for 3 boats to launch, can get backed up..easy to take paddle and kayaks out from the side docks. .nice parking, easy stairs and clean bathrooms

We stayed in the Cottonwood campground. My only complaint was that I reported a problem and it was never solved. The neighbor campers let their dogs run around and into our camp spot and they all parked on the grass. If there are rules to be followed. The camp host needs to drive around and enforce them. It is unfair to the ones that follow the rules. Other than that, things were nice and kept up.

One of my favorite state parks for camping. I like Oasis campground for the trees, showers and flushing toilets, but Twin Coves campground has the better beach. Very peaceful and the campers have always been friendly. It's also a nice destination if you are looking to get away from the crowds often seen along the Mirror Lake Highway and neighboring parks, Jordanelle and Deer Creek. We always take a day drive up Mirror Lake Highway when we are out this way, and I love stopping at Mirror Lake Diner for breakfast too!
