I went here in my sophmore and junior year, 1978-1979. I've been to schools all over the country up to this point, and this school was the most challenging academically. We even had swimming in P.E!

I was a shy student, but really enjoyed the school spirit during the week leading up to Football Friday. The Plant Panthers were our main rival (probably still is) and there were antics involved between the two student bodies. I remember someone form our school painting a panther sign on the side of their school pink. Another time, I remember Plant had a small aircraft towing a banner, circling our school and stating something along the lines on how they were going to beat us.

Anyway, looking back I had fun times attending there.

I attended Robinson from 2010 - 2014, and graduated with the IB program. I marched with the band all 4 years, and really enjoyed the experiences with them. However, the school is not particularly well kept, many of the students are disrespectful to the property, and though there are some teachers and staff who truly care, the larger majority are simply there to collect a paycheck, and it shows. The cafeteria staff are outstanding people, but the food is absolutely terrible. The football field is in horrible condition, and the county does nothing to fix it. The county needs to care more about this school and put in the money to improve it, rather than funneling all the money into Plant.

Everyone here is so rude and disrespectful, the students and the teachers, most of the teachers don't even give a crap if the kids are learning anything. When anything ever happens involving a student and a teacher all of the adults are on the teachers side no matter what. I get good grades A's and B's but I have to work extra hard to learn things because the teachers don't help when you need it, and I sit in a class and see them all struggling because the teachers don't work hard enough to actually teach. And the administrators, there all so mean to everyone, doesn't matter if your a "good" or "bad" kid, I don't know why they got into a field that requires them to work solely with kids.

Although it definitely needs improvement in most areas (like any other school), it's really not that bad of a school as everyone makes it out to be. As long as you try, you can get into a decent college.
