We boarded our two dogs at the hospital side for Christmas this year, when we picked them up we noticed that one of our dogs was bleeding from his ear. We insisted the doctor look at and all she would say was that he must have scratched the scab off but he didn't have any marks on his ears when we dropped him off. They told us he was fine but we took him to our normal vet and they said it looked like he was bitten on his years and one of his ears was infected. Riverbank insisted that he wasn't with any other dogs during his time there but the bites on his ears say otherwise. I would never take any of my animals to Riverbark again for any reason.

I got a same day, emergency appointment and I had never been there before. The intake process was extremely quick and they got us roomed within 3 minutes. I have to say they were EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE!! I could not believe with a new patient and emergency appointment with vaccinations AND antibiotics I only paid $150. Incredible business, I will absolutely recommend to everyone I know to go here. To top it off I was only there all of 25 minutes.

The place is clean. Fast service, although short staffed. Definitely worth recommending.

I have never had an issue with the front desk or the cat people lol. I have only used their cat resort for my two fur babies and they have been amazing. I can call and check up and they are happy to tell me how they are. I wish they had a camera in the cat area like they do in with the dogs.

Dr. Jenny is an excellent Veterinarian. She has performed surgery on my animal's and has been right with diagnosis.
I still go to her, and will continue to do so.

It is rare to find such a caring vet. My niece was sleeping in the car and the receptionist stood outside and kept an eye on her while my dog was getting a shot. Amazing compassion paired with a competent vet.

I've taken my pets here since I started living here in North Carolina. Awesome staff and very convenient if you live in Spring Lake. They also send you a postcard whenever your pets need any updated vaccines

Riverbark is staffed by friendly, professional and caring people. It is always clean and even when I walk in there is very little wait time. The Vet here truly cares about the pets and she is always helpful, friendly and professional with me. I have been bringing my fur babies here for several years and wouldn't go anywhere else.

They got us in the same day as our fsmily dog was on his last breath. Very courteous staff. I took my elderly dog in there who was on his death bed. They understood how it affected our family to have to determine the best way to help him. They didn't pressure us to do anything snd let us take as much time with him as we needed. They helped us arrange post death cremation services and notified us when we could come back to get him snd still expressed genuine care for how it affected us. Highly rated from my family.

I'm very disappointed in the vet techs and the ladies at the front desk of Riverbark. Not every dog comes in will be the happy-go-lucky type. Every dog reacts differently to stress of a being in a new place. They are ill equipped to deal with different dog behaviors. They couldn't read body language of my dog at all, and completely misinterpreted his nervousness as aggression. My dog fed into their nervous vibes, and it went down hill from there. If you want to work at a vet clinic or pet resort, make sure you understand how to deal with dogs, to make the situation easier on everyone. If your pet doesn't fall into the "not a care in the world" category, this vet is NOT for you!
