Paul & Renee have a great campground, very clean and within walking distance to town with good restaurants and a quirky bar known as Stubb's Bar and Antiques, or Stubb's Antique Bar, or whatever. Across the street, Lynn's Cafe serves mighty good home cooked meals.
We have stayed here twice and really enjoyed it. Great folks, beautiful area and it did matter if we didn't have TV or Wi-Fi. Just to be able to enjoy nature, the lake, and what Ontonagon has to offer was enough. Plan to stay there again this summer.
Beautiful quiet park with TERRIFIC STAFF - Paul was very efficient & friendly!!
Stated Wi-Fi and TV. No TV at all. And Wi-Fi was poor. Spaces also tight.
We took our RV to River Road RV Park this August. This is one of the nicest camps we have ever stayed at. The people that run it were very helpful and friendly. The park itself is very open and we had plenty of room. The showers were very clean and the laundry room was, too. So quiet and relaxing to come back to after a day of sightseeing and hiking through the Porcupine Mts. I can't wait to come back and we will definitely return to River Rd. RV Park. Great place!
