They advertised acupuncture and massages plus horses and didn't offer either once I got there. The food is horrible and the organization is far from just that. But nice you could use your phone and free roam on campus all day

I had a wonderful experience at their campus. I had the opportunity to meet some of the best people in my life. I'm a veteran and the veterans group leadership is top notch. I'm thankful for their help and what all I learned there, they saved my life, thank you riveroaks staff

I decided to go to River Oaks because I knew i needed to make a change or I wouldn't be around much longer. The day before I left, I woke up in the back of an ambulance due to an overdose.
I was super nervous to go and be so far from my loved ones, but it was the best decision I've ever made!
From the second I was picked up from the airport, I was treated like a person. A person that mattered. They kept me comfortable. You even get to keep your phone thru the whole process.
I learned so much about myself and made life long friends I'll cherish forever.
Oh yeah. while I was in treatment, I had 3 close friends die from drugs. I am thankful I chose to go do something different and scary because it could have been me instead.response / report this review -

Cami was my therapist and I’ve never experienced such moving sessions. She takes her time regardless of what she has else to do. When your with her, your her main focus and you feel it. I’ve never tapped into some of the things that hurt and trigger me until sessions with her. Thank you Cami, for seeing me when I haven’t felt acknowledged in so long.

My brother died in this facility. Under their "24/7" care! He was so deeply loved by his family and friends and we trusted this to be a safe and experienced facility, yet they failed him greatly. He was only 27 and had his whole life ahead of him.
We spent much time researching to ensure we selected the best option. This companies marketing is EXTREMELY misleading on the care, support, and accountability they actually provide, just to get people in the door.
They have yet to provide answers on anything and I question the proper measures in place to monitor, check on, and care for their patients and our loved ones. They continue to take on more patients which is highly concerning. Be aware. the more digging and research, the more you will find. DO NOT RECOMMEND!response / report this review
