Lots of choices, but no creamy baby food dinners. Only baby food with little pieces, which my daughter isn't ready for yet. 5 stars if I could have gotten that. Great place though.

I was referred to Reid's Food Barn by a local delivery service in Olean, NY, I was attempting to buy my Mom Thanksgiving dinner and have it delivered to her. I called and was transferred to the bakery department where a very nice lady, Michelle helped me choose what was available. They provided me with all the traditional fixings of a Thanksgiving meal and worked directly with the delivery service to have it prepared and ready when they came to pick up the meal. Once Mom received the meal, she was so surprised and she said the meal was absolutely delicious! Thank you for helping make our Thanksgiving special, although Mom and I couldn't spend it together.

I love this place. Hands down best meat in Olean. Plus it's clean and the staff is always smiling and helpful.

Half the food is usually about to go bad or is completely rotten. And the prices most of the time are outrageous in addition. SMH sick.

    1. Management should refrain from racial profiling and learn proper loss prevention techniques.

    2. If you are going to tell a cashier to have someone bag groceries so that nothing gets stolen why not bag them your self?

    3. Went there to help fiances grandmother and felt very unwelcome

    4. teach your employees how to bag groceries because being able to follow instructions and preform simple tasks will help them build character and confidence. This will also help increase repeat customers.

    5. When watching a customer don't just pretend to do something actually do something so you don't look so obvious.

    6. I don't like the idea of eating glass covered bananas. It seems unhealthy and painful.

    7. Bread+Cans= failure

    8. Strawberries+cans=failure

    9. Bananas+light bulb= failure

    10. Cheese+dish soap= failure

Do you notice a pattern here because I do and it is not the employees gross incompetence. It is the managers inability to properly manage and or train their employees. I am tired and exhausted of being treated like a second class citizen when I go out and try to help my elderly family. This store is shameful and perhaps something can be learned from this I hope. You should apologize to your cashier and stock person for having them be a part of this.

Although not a Wegmans this is clearly a family run business. A fair variety for the Olean area.

Great meat and deli selection, fresh produce, lots of local (upstate and WNY) selections (support local, farm-raised co-ops and independents), and the best donuts in the area

Employees speed through parking lot. The lot is filled with carts, so no parking. Female cashiers especially the younger ones, always have attitudes and actions like being there doing their job is hell.

BEST donuts and rolls in the area. But I have to be careful when selecting produce or meat. More then once I have brought home meat or produce that was spoiled. And some guy named Mark in produce is a jerk.
Update, their prices have skyrocketed. So, I now do the majority of my shopping at Aldi's.

The donuts are most definitely the best in town. They have the best meat in the area. Great customer service. The deli is always fully stocked with great choices. An all around great store.

I love Reid's. Sure they're not the cheapest in town but that's because they're not a chain. Support your local businesses! Boycott Walmart. Reid's makes great subs and decent pizza. They also have some of the best donuts in town! Come on down to Reid's Food Barn, and grab a t-shirt while you're there.
