Worst experience ever. Went in for a full gel set and came out with a horror show. My technician was too busy on the phone dealing with her SNAP benefits. She put acrylic on my cuticles and made my thumb bleed and just put acrylic on top of the blood. Never again will I go there and I’ll be sure to tell everyone how crappy they are. I went to Tip Top Nails and they worked so hard to fix what those people did. They were awesome and my nails are flawless. Everyone should go to Tip Top Nails.

Got gel manicure and loved the way it looks! The nail tech was gentle in cleaning my cuticles and made me feel very pampered. Pricing wasn't too bad.

10/7/17 : Great performance ! Best organic products ! New York Nail Salon is not a simple salon but I can find in here the art of mani+ pedi and talented Shellac and SNS Dipping powder designs ! Special spa pedi, complete with paraffin dip and hot stones! Love it! Highly recommended !

I went there for a pedicure with a friend. The new owner was the one who "took care" of me. She was completely rude to me. My friend's pedicure was much better than mine was. She had her feet scrubbed as is expected. She had her cuticles trimmed. And her polish turned out great. The owner acted like it was a bother for her to take care of me. She didn't trim my cuticles or scrub my feet. When I asked her if she could do so, she got very snotty with me. She said I had paid for the basic pedicure and I shouldn't expect much, all the while waving her price/services sheet in my face. I took her sheet and showed her where I was to expect basic things for my $25. She just walked away. A few minutes later she returned to polish my toes. She did a horrible, sloppy job. So, when she walked away, I asked the other worker if she could hand me the bottle of polish so I could fix it. Of course the worker spoke in Vietnamese and told the owner I was unhappy. She stomped over and asked me "what now?" I showed her where she had missed 1/2 a nail. She proceeded to polish again, making such a mess she had to remove it all and start again. I had originally asked for a manicure and a pedicure. After she was done with my pedicure, she asked if I was ready for my manicure. I told her that I didn't want one now. I told her she had done such an awful job with my pedicure that I refuse to waste any more money for subpar work. I did not leave her a tip. I will not return. It's too bad since I've been going to this salon since it opened twice a month for manicures, pedicures, and eyebrow waxing. But the new owner is just awful. I sure do miss Andy, the first owner!

Sign said open till 8 Monday thru Saturday Got there at 7 and was told that they were going home. Unprofessional!! Won't be coming back. The woman was rude as well!!

Did my nails okbut made my mother's feet bleed while giving her a pedicure then didn't make either of her feet soft. Terrible pedicures.

Wonderful experience both times. Friendly staff.
They accepted and were able to accommodate multiple people for walk-ins both times.
This will be my go to place from now on.
The shop was very clean as well.

Okay, so I honestly have nothing positive to say about this place. The workers there dress so inappropriate for one, which is nowhere near professional for a workplace. On top of that, I asked for a fill and they decided to give me a full set for no reason. I go to TK nails, and have gone to him for quite some time, but he is currently on vacation so I had no other choice but to go to new York nails. So back to my horrible review, while getting my nails done the women who was working on my nails kept stopping literally every 45 seconds or so to text and/or walk away on her personal phone and have a full blown conversation while she had myself and other clients waiting in line. When I was finally done I noticed that my nails were very crooked, un even, and the nail polish was done terribly. I'm sure you have heard of the "horse shoe" effect with fake nails, and that is what I received from this horrible place. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. I have been to a lot of nail places and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. On top of that, there prices are outrageous for the quality of their work.
