A cool restaurant/brewpub- a nice place to go with friends. I like the atmosphere here. The food is also pretty good. Definitely do not go here on a weekend day if you do not like crowds- it is difficult to find an open table. The beer is tasty and the service is pretty good. I have been here twice, and I will definitely be returning. My favorite brewpub in Logan Square. If you like dark beers, please try the Eugene Porter. It is my favorite Revolution beer.
Great food, beer and atmosphere. There's options for just about any beer preference (minus Coors lol) and food. I had the smoke stack pizza, mushroom fries and a seasonal beer. All of the items were fantastic. Will definitely return when I'm in the area. Keep up the great work!
Nice atmosphere in a popular area of town. Food selection is specifically focused on pub fare with a few unique exceptions one of which is their version of a Pasty in the appetizers section, which I did not try this time but is on my list. The Brew selection is good, providing a wide variety, however for the uninitiated it is difficult to determine what some are w/o asking the server. Cute descriptions are fine once I know what we are talking about. All in all this is a fun place to hangout, have a burger/fries & a pint, or explore their menu further.
Great, upscale food surprises in this fantastic brewery bar setting. Revolution is known for very good brews, including several seasonal selections. They have regular beers with as high as 14%ABV, and a large selection of their own and other options. Our entire group really enjoyed the variety, and the food was far above what we expected from a brewery. The selections are very gourmet without being over priced. I've been to several brew pubs in several states, and this is tops on the list. A must do for any enthusiast.
This brewpub is a fairly established mainstay in Chicago but has a modern design and atmosphere. Even this far out, many runners have the same idea and the wait is a bit longer than normal. At least it gives us time to sample a few of the extensive list of beers they have on tap, brewed here. I particularly enjoy the Oktoberfest brew since it is the season after all, as well as an American Pale Ale, the style I always find tastes best after a long run. It must be the electrolytes in the hops or something. Science! We hang out for a long time at the brewpub, enjoying some incredible fries that the boys mostly steal from me, and massive burgers that I can barely finish. The beer, however, I do finish.
Great atmosphere, we visited on a Sunday night and there was still a decent crowd. Awesome variety of beer, you can easily build your own flight by combining the $2-$5 samples they offer! We tried the chips and beer-cheese dip as an appetizer, chips were a bit over seasoned and the dip tasted more like a taco seasoned cheese dip but was still good. The pulled pork sandwich was delicious and the cream cheese mashed potatoes were even better! Would definitely visit again.
Parking was a easy and the bartenders are awesome. Our server ( Claire) was super helpful and the food is really good. Definitely ten stars. Come here. Just do it. The atmosphere is incredible.
Great beer and good food. I've also attended a wedding in their private room upstairs and it was great. The bride said the staff was incredible and helped her every step of the way. They even accommodated several vegan dinner guests (myself included) and it was really tasty. It was a lovely event.
Good service, great beer! We were there early on a Sunday and sat down immediately at the bar. The bartenders were easily available and ready to answer any of our questions. We ordered the Stacker pizza and it was delicious. Enough for 2 people. (cut into 4 large pieces)
The beer and food was very good. Service was great, we sat at the bar. The bar tenders were able to answer any questions we had about the menu. I just wasn't crazy about the atmosphere. It doesn't have that feeling that makes you want to stay for a long time. It's very busy and brightly lit.
Me and a friend went after a concert. The food and drinks were pretty good. Atmosphere was good. The guy that greeted us when coming in didn't seem to know if they were still serving food?? Shouldn't he know the answer to that?
Great beer. Good food. Good service. Great atmosphere. Lots of seating options. Big bar (in the middle and bar service/seating on both sides). Definitely check it out.
I love this place. It has some of the best beer I've ever had. If you can, try and get a seat at the bar. The full food menu is available there. Otherwise, you'll wait for a table. Either way, everything is totally worth your time. Enjoy!
I love coming to the Revolution brewpub. The atmosphere is fun and full of life and the beers and food are excellent. The appetizers are a little on the pricey side but they are worth it and the entrees are all definitely worth it. If it looks crowded downstairs there is an amazing upstairs area that you should check out if it is not being used for a party. Occasionally they have live music up there.
I love this place. The food is amazing. Every thing I've tried is delicious. The prices are very reasonable for the amount and quality of food. The staff are extremely helpful and polite. It's very clean and well ran.
