Nice little kitchenette, so I was able to make my own meals, using ingredients from the nearby Walmart. Pool access is included, and the pool appeared opened, but I didn't see anyone using it. It is a little small but a good way to relax. Free parking as well. Room rates were very reasonable. Actual room itself had a few fixtures in a state of disrepair. Namely, a toilet paper holder that was screwed loosely into the drywall, some unsightly access panels in the bathrooms, etc. The interior was dated but perfectly functional, and met my needs for the weekend. Would visit again.
Other reviews talking about the property showing its age is partially trueit could probably use some remodeling in places. But the service here was outstandingvery on par with all the other Res Inns we’ve stayed in. We asked for a rollaway, they didn’t have any morebut they did offer us a bigger room with an additional bed at no charge. Pretty awesome.
Also, it’s a great place to stay if you want to commute into DC while on business or vacation. Just over $3 off-hours and just over $5 at peek hourseach way. Comp shuttle will even take you the 1/3 mile or so to the nearby Metro station, or just walk it you want. Not far at all.
All we wanted was a comfortable bed and we did not get that! This hotel was disappointing for a Marriott. The mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. Change the beds please. After tossing in bed for hours I am up at 3:30am writing this review. Don’t ever stay on the lower floor as you will hear the people above walking around.
The staff was very nice.
Won’t ever stay again or recommend.
This was my second stay and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff is incredibly accommodating, the hot buffet breakfast is delicious, and it is a convenient location in Tysons Corner! I travel here with my Debate team (middle schoolers) and we ALWAYS enjoy it!! This is my ONLY Tysons Corner hotel for all subsequent trips to the area - whether business or leisure!! Keep up the GREAT work!!
We generally have excellent stays at Residence Inn properties but this was an exception. While it was quite cold overnight (circa 5 degrees), there is no reason that the room should be 58 degrees with the heater on full. We also did not have enough hot water for more than one five minute shower (four guests). Part of the problem was the incredibly poor weather seal around the door and windows. (This Residence Inn has guest room doors that lead directly outside.). There was a measurable gap around the entire door and one could see light and feel the cold breeze coming through. This property is definitely showing its age. Add to all of that the fact that two of the TVs stopped working (possibly due to the cold) and our stay ended up being much shorter than planned. On the contrary, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great, as always.
Very helpful staff, very large rooms. Located well with good connections to large roads and there is a metro station not far away.
A very nice place ,clean rooms and friendly staff. Spl thanks and mention to the front desk manager Mr.Jean who gave us a complimentary upgrade to a bigger room since we were with senior citizens . In all a nice stay albeit for one night. Will surely recommend others. Thank you!
I had to travel to Tysons for work, and decided to give Residence Inn a try. I like the idea of being able to cook some meals in the room, instead of having to eat out all time. The room is very nice, and the internet is fast. I would stay here again.
I love the way it looks. I will be in touch with the guy who did it. I have a plan is for a favor and I have been talking for a while but I have no money for a down for the day but if you're gonna get all my heart go out and have some fun on your date is still being considered to for my final tomorrow at the same place as a kid eating Viet you have to go through all this is a good idea to go eat and drink lots of course not baby I'm sure you are you going on the way home now it was it fun on your date tonight we will be home late today but I don't want unnecessary and the other one is definitely a new one of my favorite things I say or how was your trip back to the hotel to get the same time as in the past I have no clue I have no idea where it was and I wanted to make sure that I have no knowledge of course I will do my work schedule for a while and then feeling better today I think love it and I will be there in 12 now I am going at 9 dollars.
Great place for a family. The units are pretty old. They have been updated somewhat. The AC unit was quite loud. Loved having a kitchenette and a second bathroom
Good room. Nothing special though. Outside is a little dated but had up to date appliances and finishes inside. Full kitchen with fridge was nice. Pool was nice as well.
This place is beautiful and is resort type ideal for relaxing and spending time. A perfect get away from the city's rush and noise. Connectivity is good too. Metro station is like 10 minutes walk and you can get to the DC and visit all attractions. There is also a shuttle service from the place till the metro station which was very useful at night. I would highly recommend this place. Enjoyed our stay here.
Great easy location in the area. The front desk staff are always super friendly and helpful. The gym is nice, high ceilings so it doesn't ever get oppressively hot, breakfast in the morning is always solid - I really like when they have the greek yogurt and fresh fruit available. As a constant business traveler it's nice to have a location that feels less like a stuffy hotel room and more relaxed and spacious, I could stay at the full service Marriott up the road but prefer and always choose to stay here because of the staff and amenities.
We drive over 3 hours in traffic from NJ to VA and what I loved about this place is not the problem but how my situation was resolved. I called the office and talked to Jean(nice man)the he front desk clerk and then he informed me that he would need to talk to the manager Andy(nice man) and he came to the office and he was explained what happened and he handled it without a hassle. It is reassuring to see customers service in its true nature.they truly rectified a mistake that another member of the staff did.
So I personally ally highly recommend this hotel for your vacation when you are in the area. Give this hotel a try and if Jean is at the front desk and if the Manger Andy is here tell him the girl from so Cal sent you and you heard wonderful things about their service.
