I'm actually sad about my last purchase. I bought over 20 bucks worth of misc. cookies, and most were over baked. I've been going here for years, and I don't think the previous employees would have even put those items out. They have amazing bake goods, just check your items, cause you might end up passing.

I have been an avid customer of Resch’s Bakery since the early 80s. But I have to say I am getting more and more disappointed. There are several items that they have changed over the years and then today, I go to order my husband’s favorite, special treat he has been getting for many years; coconut bars. They were always a white cake, chocolate glaze/icing, and ground coconut dusted on the outside – to die for! Then years later they started making a lemon version which my mother really liked. The last time we ordered them, we got there to pick them up and they were the lemon – oh well it wasn’t the end of the world we went ahead and took them – it wasn’t for a special occasion but just because we were hungry for them. Well today I go to order them for my husband’s 60th birthday and I am told I can not get the original ones, if I want chocolate glaze they will only put it on a chocolate cake – really?! Since when does the cake determine the icing or glaze and visaversa? Well that is too much chocolate for our liking but they insisted – you can only order the lemon or the chocolate on chocolate. Canceled my order. So much for being able to order specialty items and an item the way you want it. I am assuming you can not order a white cake or cupcakes with chocolate icing either. Very disappointing.

Awesome bakery. Always fresh. They don't play around! It's like the heavens parted and Jesus came down to make these doughnuts by hand. I'm eating a delicious glazed doughnut with chocolate on top as I type this🤗

Not a great experience for a new customer. When you walk, in there are people standing everywhere. Assuming there's a line, we stand behind people by the door. As someone walks in after us, we see they take a ticket with a number on it; we take one too. When our number is finally called, it's so faint, we can't even determine where it came from. Looking around at all the counters, we can't find anyone even available. After finally being able to catch someone's attention (after multiple people after us we're helped) we finally just stepped in front of someone else to be assisted. I don't even know if the donuts were any good as they were purchased for a work event. Probably will not be returning no matter how good they are. It was a cluster!

This bakery popped up as highly recommended so I made a special trip there to investigate. Lovely simple interior and a display case full of delicious looking pastries. After trying the samples that were offered I couldn't decide! I let the counterperson fill a box with her selection of six items. They were not only lovely but delicious according to all who sampled them! Worth the trip!

Awesome bakery. The donuts are great, well honestly everything there is. It is not cash only anymore, yay! If you go on the weekend be prepared to wait a bit and you'll need to most likely wait for a parking spot.

I went by to pick up a birthday cake that was already paid for and they were closing up. I apologized for the lateness but I wanted to know if I could just pick it up since it was paid for. I could clearly see the cake from the window but they refused to give it to me. 😕

Old school bakery in every sense of the term. People tell stories about this place and it's history. If you go, expect some good varieties of donuts, cakes, bread and pretzels. Everything is made in shop and you can taste the love.

My family has been going to this bakery since before I can remember. We've ordered countless birthday cakes, a few graduation cakes and a wedding cake or two. Of course, that's why we GO there, but almost inevitably there's some other treat or twelve that catches ones eye! None of them have disappointed.

My husband ordered a cake for my surprise baby shower. The details were beautiful. The only downfall was we ordered a marble cake and when we cut into it the cake was all chocolate which is not what we paid or asked for. My husband called the bakery to see if they would make things right. The bakery just apologized and didn't do anything for us. I was truly disappointed with that fact. We ordered a half sheet that was 80 for the wrong cake type. Sad that they weren't willing to do anything to make it right besides just a apology over the phone. Will not be going back.
