  This is practically an airport terminal. It's large, clean, and there are places to get beverages and possibly food or snacks. The elevators are clearly marked so you can easily get to your car rental company's level, and a sign wisely advises to not use the escalator if you have luggage (which I would not have attempted stuff the size and number of luggage I had). Trying to get out of the garage, finding the lot exit and then having to drive to the exit road, took longer and was more winding than most other places which was sort of annoying.

  I have rented several cars from different companies at this rental center and it has always been pleasant. The entire building is well maintained and clean. It is easy to find the company you are working with and then picking out your car is always my favorite part! I lived in small cities before where you were just given whatever car the rental desk staff wanted to off to you and you didn't have any choice. Getting to actually pick the rental car you will be driving from all the options available in the category you have reserved is a treat.

  PHX Sky Harbor's Rental Car Center is an off-site centralized hub makes traveling a snap! They offer free shuttle service to and from the airport. Shuttles come frequently but expect longer wait times during the day as the shuttles will do their best to pickup as many passengers as possible. Traveling in the late evening, in my experience there is rarely a wait. The trip can take anywhere from 10-15 minutes so plan accordingly. At the rental hub, all the rental brands are conveniently labeled making rental pick-up a cinch. Rental drop off is just as easy. I've had experience with Avis and Alamo National with both providing excellent customer service. The Rental Center also makes for a great drop off/pick-up area even if you're not renting a vehicle. Free shuttle service is great. If you're lucky you will get the driver (his name escapes me) who intentionally​ tells corny airport jokes which make them hilarious. Especially after being on a plane for hours!

  Very helpful and easy going. Easy to navigate the rental center too. Had one high strung person help us at the front desk of Alamo which could have been a problem if ww cared and the cars were not cleaned inside very well. Overall pleasant experience.

  I used enterprise car service which was great with amazing customer service but this rental car center sucks. The buses don't leave frequently so add extra time to your commute to the terminal. They try to fill to the capacity every time. Also, there were no gas stations nearby when I exited the highway which I found really weird and had to backtrack to find one. And don't get me started on the long road out of the rental car center after you've picked up a car
