The owner/proprietor is a great guy, very helpful and he has always been accomodating . He upgraded me on more than one occasion which was great. The deluxe rooms are very spacious with sunk tub and huge shower. The suites are nice with a luxury bathroom. Walking distance to Redondo Beach Pier and being on Pacific Coast Hwy, hop skip jump to food, bars, shops, drugstore, etc.. and REASONABLE PRICES TOO.

What I look forgood beds, nice host, free parking, laundry, good eats near, quietly/safely locatednear banks and good shoppingand priced well!
All the rest is a givenclean, T.V., WiFi, bathrooms in tactTHIS PLACE HAS IT ALL!
I had a lovely walk to the Redondo Pieralone, at night and felt very safe. Police patrol is very present.
The host are exceptionally wonderful people who REALLY care about your comfort. It shows in every detail. Smoking areas set aside, dumpster decorated with live trees, Continental breakfast, and so many other little touches that make this a 5☆ destination.

Clean. Great location.
After a long day of racing our sailboat we were looking forward to a good night sleep.
4am our 3rd floor room sounded like we were in a laundry room with a washer stub in spin cycle.
NO response by phone from the office.

The website gives a complete misrepresentation of the accommodations. It is far from the modern, clean look they picture. The rooms are dark, unclean and VERY worn. Ultimately, we did not feel that this hotel was up to standard and decided not to stay. The staff was nice enough but very unhelpful and the communication with the "corporate office" was impossible. I have never been able to connect with anyone in their so-called corporate office and have been unsuccessful in getting my refund. They have sent me on a run around in regard to who to connect with and I cannot get a phone number or direct email of anyone with he ability to issue a refund. Bottom line, VERY SHADY!

Had worst. Price was actually higher than posted online. Room was great. Breakfast sucked. But i got coffee, which was nice. Location was good if you want to swim and watch whales, but far from any other attraction i wanted to see. Staff was friendly. Overall by far not the worst hotel experiance i had.

For the price this hotel met our need. We were able to get the room for $129 plus taxes, $144 out the door. The beds were very comfortable and the location of the hotel was very convenient for access to the Redondo Pier. The walk was less than 5 minutes and it was all downhill. The walk home obviously was uphill and less than 10 minutes. There were several restaurants within the local area and they were not chain restaurants, as we prefer to support the local community. The cons were limited outlet plugs in the room, the room was renovated but not at a "luxury"suite, it seems as though the hotel was still under renovation. This was a basic room that gave you a place to relax without a ton of amenities. A last good pro, there was free parking.

The owners are very nice, but the rooms leave a lot to be desired. Our non smoking room (all of the rooms are supposed to be non smoking) constantly had cigarette smoke wafting in from somewhere. My eyes stung and my throat hurt every morning. We let the office know several times, were told it'd be taken care of, but it was not. It was very noisy all the time, you could clearly hear traffic in our room, as if a window was open, and it was one of the farthest rooms from the street. The air conditioner was very loud! I would recommend ear plugs if you want to run it at night. The decorations are nice, mid century modern, but everything is in disrepair. Pieces were missing from the TV stand, the chairs in the room had shredded upholstery, and the paint on the wall was damaged. The bed is exceptionally uncomfortable, way too hard. It is, however, a fairly clean room, and close to the beach for the price. I was left feeling very unhappy with the room though, I would never stay here again or recommend it to anybody. The worst part was they charged in advance and no refunds so we were stuck here for 3 more nights after the first terrible one.

I loved my stay! Me and my friends walked to the beach every day! It was like a 5 minute walk which was really nice. The room was bigger than I thought. The owners were really helpful and were super awesome, we got there alot earlier than planned and they let us get settled in right when we got there.

I booked the romance suite. The room was really plain. The ac/heater didn't work. The bathroom sink was clogged when we arrived. The plus side is that it was in a good location and close to everything.

Falsely advertised 😖😡not a family place. Unsafe and dirty. Broken pull out bed, metal sticking out. No fire alarm in kitchenette​ area. Pool is gross. Disposed couch in the parking area. We are non smokers and our car smelled like ciggerettes after being parked there for 10 mins. I would of rather slept in my car if that was our only choice.

Room was barely clean. Pull-out bed was broken and had no bedding. Fire alarm in room was broken. Overall look was poorly polished decay. There was even a broken couch and several broken-down fridges in the parking area. What was most disappointing was that the photos online did not convey the true look of the facilities. Do not stay here unless you like paying to much for junk. We found a room for $20 more just a few blocks away that was luxury in comparison!

We loved our stay. The room was twice as big as expected. The mattresses were so comfortable that I slept longer than expected and ended up checking out a little late. Dee was amazing though. He told us not to worry. He was so kind at check in and check out. The cost was exceptional for the quality and the location was minutes from the pier. Also within walking distance of several restaurants. 03/2017
