If you have a beach view, great view, however they will try and nickel and dime you so watch out. Used to be a great place with no real issues (other than a very limited breakfast), however they have recently stopped providing any additional coffee, water or other items without charging for items that would typically be provided complementary for any higher-end boutique and standard for any frequent travelers. Really disappointing turn.

Cute little hotel right on the beach. The room were comfy, with a little kitchenette in it. Staff was nice though the breakfast was basic it was enough to get the day started.

Beautiful beach view! The room was very nice and even had a fireplace. I forgot my purse and they shipped it to me. I was really happy with my stay.

The rooms are relatively small compared to the nightly rate. The "suites" are not actual suites. The living room, "kitchen," and bedroom are confined to one small space in what seems like a 200 sq. ft room. The photos make the room appear more spacious than they are. Overall, it reminds me of a motel. Upon arrival, the bathroom had another woman's hair on the floor; however, the room was clean overall. Room service is terrible. They have two restaurants to order from in the hotel one of which closes extremely early (5pm or 10pm depending on who you ask) and the other one has a short menu. The menu displays incorrect ingredients which causes the servers to bring you the wrong order. The employees are sarcastic, young, immature, and unprofessional. The room never had enough towels, and they charge for simple amenities like a toothbrush that would otherwise be offered free at 5-star or any other hotel. I will not be a return guest at this establishment. This is by far the worst hotel i have ever stayed at. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The PERFECT location for a beach getaway. Exceptional beaches right outside your door. Fantastic food all in walking distance. We valeted the car and didn't touch it for 3 days. My one complaint would be the mattress quality. It's tough to get this right though and the location adequately makes up for it.

Our stay here was part of a company outing and the place seemed very nice from the reviews and photos which is why we picked it. When we checked in, everything seemed fine and the rooms were nice. The hotel is right off the beach so it's very well situated.
The bad - the hotel is 3 buildings with an driveway connecting to public streets. There are numerous drunk homeless people and lots of crazy people. That evening, we witnessed a really bad fight right outside our hotel room between 3 individuals which ended up with one person being hit in the head with a wine bottle and blood all over the sidewalk. The hotel didn't even hosing the blood off and in the morning, it dried blood was everywhere.
Violent crazy people aside, due to the beach proximity, there's also quite a bit loud drunk people so it's really noisy. As we walked back from breakfast, we noticed puke by the valet..they didn't bother cleaning that up either.response / report this review -

This place is PERFECTION. I wasn't expecting a room right out of a pottery barn magazine! Its a little more expensive than the surrounding places, but the money is definitely well worth it!

We had an oceanfront room, right on The Strand. Great balcony for people watching and relaxing. The hotel is clean and updated. It's just a short walk to restaurants and boutiques.

This place is great! Staff is always friendly and helpful. Prime location, all the restaurants and shops are right down the road within walking distance. It also is right on the boardwalk, perfect for morning walks or bike rides. Rooms are good sized. They also have anything you need for the beach.

This location is absolutely Amazing. Located right on the Hermosa Strand you can get a beautiful view of the ocean at $300.00 witch is quite affordable. The staff is so friendly its insane smiles on there faces and super accommodating. They brought me a toothbrush and some toothpaste witch is awesome. Not all hotels have that type of serives. I'm very pleased with my experience. Thank you so much for showing love. Pros: Ocean breeze Cons: None

This is one of my favorite hotels. Right along the beach, with great view. Rooms are very spacious suites, complete with two-burner stove, microwave, fireplace, living room, and separate tub & showers. Only cons are: their "continental breakfast" is only pastries, cereal and coffee; the water isn't scalding hot for the showers like I like; and no self-parking ($27/night valet). Regardless, I would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area!
