Red Tail Golf Club, rated 4-1/2stars, is home to a championship golf course that ranks with some of the best in Massachusetts. This tree-lined parkland layout provides a wonderful test for your all-round game, with many attractive, skilfully crafted and challenging holes to enjoy. A must play if you are in the area.

I played golf at Red Tail Golf Club with the Safari Club a couple of weeks ago. The course was in pretty good condition but not great. The fairways and greens were hard and the bunkers need some attention. I've played here earlier this year and it was in much better condition. Hopefully this is only a temporary condition.

Played here with the Safari Club on 10/16. Cool and breezy day, which made club selection a little difficult on some holes. Very interesting and challenging course that was in very good condition. Staff was very accommodating to all our needs. Enjoyable day!

Another grate outing with the Safari Club. The weather was cold and windy. But the course kept us worm. Lots of ups and downs. Greens were good. Staff very good.

A beautiful golf course. 16 holes are very nice. The remaining 2 don't quite keep up. Not bad but not great.

the rangers dont do a good enough job to keep people moving so its usually a longer than average round as expected for public golf.
Great layout and some cool holes. Good range and putting area, clubhouse is ok,

5 and a half hour round. Greens were torn up like we were playing in April (is July 2017) , uneven, unkept and unsightly.

Greens keepers spraying water in the middle of the round, soaking you and the course while you play. Staff was uneducated on golf etiquitte and my cousin (who I took out for his birthday) and I were forced to play with 2 random guys from Boston.

    Horrible horrible golf experience.

Incredible layout. Nice conditions. Top tier course. Spaced out tee times. Fun greens. Worth the cost.

Most of the staff is friendly minus a few (front desk) that have some weird sense of entitlement about who is serving whom here and treat the customers like children.

This was one of the harder reviews I have had to do because I really believe I should have given Red Tail 4.5 stars. The course is fantastic, excellent to be exact, except for one thing, the closer to the end of the season you get the more banged up the course is. Red Tail's level of difficulty and layout are spot on. It's challenging, but not overly difficult. I would recommend that you be somewhere in the 15 handicap range to truly appreciate and enjoy the course, but even if you are a hacker you will find beauty and intrigue with this course.

Like I mentioned earlier, the course gets A LOT of play and because of this is torn up by Sept/Oct. Too many divots and any fluffy sand that was there at the beginning of the season is beaten away.

Red Tail is still a great course that is worthy of making your "Should Play" list.
