I agree with others that if I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would. The outside of the building looks like a newer build, the lobby looks fairly nice (about what you're paying for), but when it comes to the upper two levelsdisgusting. The hallways smell like smoke and are musky. The rooms are NOT as advertised on their website or online. The first impression off of the elevator was a beatle, only to find multiple in our room (both dead and alive). We were in our room longer than 15 minutes, so when we went down to be refunded and move hotels, we were told we stayed longer than allowed for a refund. I worked with Keyma, who was wonderful. She tried her best to help me, but her manager would not allow any sort of refund. The manager she talked with, Mohit Vyas, does not care at all about the customers, rather, only cares about the money he is making. Keyma ended up upgrading us to a bigger room, but the first thing that came running out from under the couch as we walked in was a huge cockroach. STILL, manager Mohit Vyas, refused to help us. He refused to talk to me over the phone and was extremely rude to his employee. If you are considering staying at this hotel, I hope this review allows you to see beyond the fake reviews and pictures on the website/google. Never again will I stay at a Red Roof Inn.
My wife and I arrived very late in the evening with our pets. The staff were super kind and super helpful getting us squared away quickly. Accomodations were fine.
This is one of the worst hotel I have stayed in! The first room they put me in had a broken bed. I went back to the worker and she changed by room out. The next day, I told the owner that I needed my room to be cleaned; he told be that will be no problem. Wellunfortunately they didn't clean my room! I told the girl at the front desk that my room was still dirty and her response was " I can't do nothing but give you towels" she said I have to wait till the next day. The next morning, I told the owner that my room was cleaned and he said he was going to take care of it lol he gave me a $17 credit 😂😂😂 these people are pathetic! $75 a night was not worth it all day! This hotel is worth about $30 a night. Their so called continental break sucks! Coffee cold, and really nothing to chose from. I will never stay there again!!!! Oh yeahthe girl that work overnight charged my cousin a pet fee when there is no pet fee. She told my cousin that she has to pay it in cash cause she's giving her a discount 🙃🙃🙃
One of the worst experiences Ive had at a hotel. This location is about a mile from Ft. Gordon. They allow pets at this location and several occupants let their dogs run free in the hallways. The carpets in the hallways are filthy. The room smelled bad and the shower curtains had stains. The top comforter on the bed smelled horrible so I took it off. I was put in a room without a remote. The front desk agent said he couldn't do anything about the remote until the manager returned in 30 mins. 2 hours later I had a remote but had to program it myself because the guy at the front desk couldn't do it. On check out day I woke up 15 mins prior to check out. I called downstairs to let them know I'd be out of the room in 30 and the manage comes up knocking on my door. He was very rude even after I notified the front desk and cleaning lady I was running late.
Very displeased! This was my 2nd bad experience with this very same location. I tried not to be too critical during my initial stay so giving it a 2nd chance was only fair IN MY FORGIVING MIND! The rm has rusted tables while the microwave glass plate just tumbles out as soon as you open the microwave door, the rm smells musty, the tub has what appears to be cigarette burns on the side, The bathroom door had wood detached from the bottom frame, the remote controls batteries were being secures in their slots by TAPE, and to add insult to injury the phone didn't even work for me to call the front desk to report the issues. All this after paying $80!!!!! NEVER AGAIN IN LIFE!!!!!!
I called to see if any rooms we're available he(short Indian man) said yes no need to reserve the room just come down. We get there 30 min later try and book a room and he tells my husband there's NO rooms available so my husband asks him we why when I called you said there were rooms available he then said oh that was you and magically rooms appeared . Then he tells us I'm going to have to add a $20 charge on your room fee as a deposit I ask why he tells me my card is prepaid. Then I asked well why didn't you charge the ppl in front of us and they used a prepaid Card and he started playing dumb. This man clearly had a problem with us because we were black.
I wish i could give a half star! Worst stay ever! Service is great but you can hear everything!!!! Next door and upstairs!!! This was my weekend away. no rest!! I wished they would of had carpet there was so much noise! Really bad after 10pm
By far the most disgusting dirtiest hotels I've ever saw. The room next to us was smoking weed and cussing and fighting with children in the room crying. The towels were covered in long black hairs with stains. The floors have never been wept of mopped. I swiped the bathroom floor with a towel and it became black. The entire outdoor landscape and parking lot was covered with trash and food thrown out the vehicles. Even though this is a inexpensive hotel, there is a reason why this hotel is so cheap. The entire hotel smelled like smoke and was nasty. We learned to never cut back when it comes to hotels.
I am extremely impressed with this hotel. It used to be a different hotel at one point. They have changed and remodeled it in order to turn it into the Red Roof Inn & Suites. The area is not the greatest in the world but it is also not a bad area. Only about one-and-a-half to two miles from the front gate of Fort Gordon. The people are extremely friendly and very accommodating, the prices are very good 4 a hotel that is this decent, and that is just in general and all-around good place to stay.
