Good ole Red Rocks. While concerts here are a blast, and the acoustics are truly incredible, I spend most of my time here biking up the multiple drives that take you around and to the top of the amphitheater. The view never quite gets old, and the weather around Morrison is usually pretty predictable.
I do recommend getting here early if you plan on driving. Parking can fill up quite fast and you are left searching for a spot.

Nature meets man-made. A concert at the amphitheater surrounded by red rocks in the city's Park is a unique experience. Wide stadium seats and the view of the city in the background of the stage. The city slowly lights up as dusk approaches. Then it fully lit up when night falls. So beautiful to enjoy with your favorite band playing. The concert also has a seating area at the top and convenient handicap parking lot for the disabled.

Amazing venue! The line to get in moves FAST! Even the ladies restroom. All of the employees were very helpful and friendly. It is a very well-thought-out concert hall with the way it is ran and set up. Such beautiful views as well. It was a once in a lifetime experience.

Any show you see at Red Rocks never disappoints. Artists tend to bring their A game when they get the opportunity to perform at Red Rocks.
Someday I will get to see an artist I love record a live album there.
The stairs are still there; however there are taxis who will drive you from the bottom parking lots up to the top entrance, if you don't feel like putting in a pretty decent leg workout to watch a show. 😀
I never know why, but just like at other venues prices are incredibly outrageous. The $8-$12 price tag of a mixed drink or can of alcohol doesn't seem deter that many people from ordering them however. The bottled water is $5.50, it's medium in size, but they keep your lid which leaves your pricey water vulnerable to wayward feet.
You don't have to bring a see-through bag, but they are going to check inside your bag at the entrance. They use the metal sensing wand, but no pat down. And from what I could tell it's similar to the airport in that you can bring a water bottle as long as it's empty and you fill it inside, but I didn't particularly notice working water fountains.
It's all worth it folks. Go to there, get ya some!

What can really be said? If you haven't experienced a show at Red Rocks then you must as soon as possible. If you have been to a show then you know. Going for yoga, a movie or a hike is cool and all but it's not the same as a show. That's when this place becomes magical instead of historical. Going to see an artist you love makes it all that more amazing, experiencing a new favorite here is amazing The more you see and the more experiences you have the better it becomes. The more the venue becomes a part of your life. It's Beautiful and epic.
