First time here. We had the brisket sandwiches. Excellent, nice and moist with a good selection of sauces.
I really liked the Mac and cheese bites. Just a little kick!
How come I didn't know about this place! It is awesome. But what do you choose? Fried chicken, Brisket or Pulled Pork sandwich. And their sides are wonderful. Now if you like real southern food, this is for you. I had the cheesy grits. Wow, with a splash of Texas Petes. All I can tell you is get there early, they do sell out of the Pulled Pork and Brisket. Did I mention that they serve Mannings ice cream. Only open Wednesday through Sunday, and April through October. I've found a new favorite restaurant. Very casual, I mean casual.
Great spot! Brisket was as moist and flavorful as it gets. Mac n cheese and slaw were a great side. There's enough meat on the sandwich to make two!
The smoked wings on Wednesday's are unreal. Like, I may have hallucinated eating them they were so good. This place makes some serious BBQ. Amazing brisket, sides, and ice cream shakes. It can get busy with large groups (and just two people behind counter when we went) so don't be impatient and enjoy the antique store while waiting for some incredible eats.
Thank you, thank you, thank youfor offering delicious southern food in our area! Finally, we don't have to drive far to get quality, quick lunch/dinner for a reasonable price! Great, unique sauce choices as well! A 'must try' for newbies!
The fried chicken special was soo delicious!! Great atmosphere, family friendly and the food is so fresh and scrumptious. Family owned and operated, you can tell they are happy to see you come and try their food:-)
Just stopped @ Red Rock Barbecue on my way home from the cemetery'. Had the fried chicken since only available on Sunday. It was delicious. I'll be back later in the week for some ribs!
