worst haunted house I’ve ever been too. It’s way to short and the actors call you very very rude names instead of trying to scare you. More than half of the haunt is fogged up to the point where you can’t see anything and the actors shine there flashlights in your face during the whole haunt. Won’t be coming back anytime soon if ever and way to overpriced.

I went tonight with a group of friends and thought it was awesome! I had a blast!!! I will be going back next year :) if I could give any type of criticism whatsoever , it would be to maybe have more scares towards the end.but everything was amazing.great actors! Mad props to them! The first part was cool! Best haunted house I've been to!

Went to the Realm of Terror last night October 20 beware in the beginning when you go into the first section they close the door on you watching some type of video or something and then all the sudden water squirts right in my eyes fudged up my makeup. Lol but otherwise it was pretty good they put a lot of work into the haunted house.

AMAZING set, I'm a lover of all things Macabre and this was beautifully gross and exactly what a haunted house should be like. I was genuinely scared to the point of screaming SO MANY TIMES. And I'm not scared easily.
I loved it so much! I just came out and I already want to go back. Im going to grab a new group of friends and check out the in line bar next time. I don't want to spoil anything, but Haunted Houses are my favorite Halloween time activity, and this one was so satisfying.response / report this review -

Close by decided to check it out thinking it would be a waste of money, surprisingly completely oppsite, theatrics were really good, lots of live interaction, unlike other haunted houses that have 10 people and rest are slapped together props. Having 30+ actors puts it at 4*. Only thing that kept it from getting 5 is towards the end there was so much fog you couldnt see the actors, where your going. This may be a plus to some as added fear but was not my cup of tea. All in all you wont be disappointed. Lastly the staff is super friendly. Kudos

The staff always puts on a great show and you can grab a beer while you're waiting in line. That's awesome! I come every year and my friends and I always have a good time. The rec center in front of the place offers arcade and bowling and another bar so there is entertainment other than the haunted house to look forward to.

I have visited this hainted house for years and every year it seems to just get better. The line actors out front are amazing, a little vulgar at times but this haunted house is aimed for an adult audience not children. I always have an amazing time even waiting in line the actors are hilarious and very interactive. Once in the house the actors show an enormous amount of energy coming at you from all directions. Even if you don't get scared you will be entertained the entire time. I recomend everyone visit this haunt.

I have never screamed so much in a haunted house before. The costumes were amazing, the actors phenomenal, the haunted house itself was terrifying. Between the set up of the props and decor, the lighting, the fog, the actors crawling along the floors, walls and ceilings. I had a great time. Definitely not for the faint hearted. Loved it!

One of most insane haunted houses to experience! The decoration of the Realm of Terror creates a very intense atmosphere, as in, you don't want to touch the walls it looks so good (gross)! Definitely NOT for kids Stay home if you're easily offended. It's definitely a rated R haunted house but that what makes it so worth the show! One of the top haunted houses in IL for sure!

Been going every year for the past 5 years and they've never disappoint. These guys are sick. The props are cool and the people are nuts! Can't wait to go this year. Friend told me something might be new this year.
