Been coming to this hotel at least twice a year for a very long time. Never had a problem with requesting an inside or outside room depending on the weather. The breakfast isn't that bad and always have a good time at the pool. Definitely recommend.

Stayed there for a wedding. Place could use an update, some maintenance and a good cleaning. More of a motel than a hotel. Not expensive, but, trust mepay a little more for a better place.

We loved this hotel and always had a pretty good stay until last time. First, you might wanna do something about bedbugs like the one that was watching me sleep. I told the staff about it and nothing was done. Second, please teach your laundry room staff that interracial couples do exist and its rude to stare. Finally, we weren't even asked how our stay was when checking out. Considering our other options elsewhere next time we're in the State College area.

We just had our DREAM wedding at the Ramada! I cannot stress enough how awesome their management is! They accommodating every single request I had. I have never felt more like a Princess in my life. Jesse, your restaurant and bar service was top notch! Don and Josh, you guys went above and BEYOND to make this the perfect day of my life! I am forever grateful!

This was not the worst hotel I have ever stayed at, but overall it fell short of expectations. While we did not see anything in our rooms, we heard rodents squeaking and moving in the walls between our rooms. A significant number of the rooms have glass walls facing the hallway, which makes for both a strange dynamic and allows in more light and sound than a typical hotel room would. Additionally, many of these rooms face the indoor area where the pool is located, which causes them to share the same warm, humid, chlorine-smelling air as the pool area. The hotel decor has clearly not been updated in a significant time, as I imagine someone stumbling in from the 80s would recognize the majority of the hotel as exactly the same. In the end, this is an adequate place to sleep if you can handle the occasional noises in the walls, but I would not recommend it as a high end hotel or a place to spend a significant amount of time.

It's about what you'd expect for a motel. The pool area is actually really nice, and the rooms are nothing really special. There was a slight spot on one of the blankets but that was all. I would stay there again.

The rooms are very neat and spacious. The windows and walls are well isolated, so you don't hear anything. The service is very timely and generous. The staff are very courteous. The location is just far away from downtown that the price is good.

Anything above a 1 star review must be from Ramada employees as it’s IMPOSSIBLE to rate this hotel any differently, in my opinion. Forget that the rugs, curtains, decor, linens are right out of 70s, and even forget that the place hasn’t seen any renovations since it was built. What I can’t get over is the stench of utter nastiness when I opened the door to the room. This hotel reminded me of something out of a horror movie where nothing good ever happens. I could go on & on, but I just don’t know where to start or if there would even be an end. What a joke. Only reason this gets 1 star, is the front desk was professional when I immediately checked out.

Worth hotel ever: everything dirty, from floor, to bed sheets and shower and the kitchen. The rooms (I had to change the first one) are very dark, dirty and smelly. There is no place where you can hide from the stinky mold/smoke like smell that is everywhere. Breakfast was the worth part of the stay. And forget about WIFI (3 down and 0.3 up at best). The only good thing about this place were the front desk staff staff.
Two words to sum up: STAY AWAY!

Breakfast is kind of lacking and rooms are very crammed. Beds aren't too comfortable. Other than that it is pretty nice.

I Stayed here for four nights for a conference at Penn State. The building is a little weird and a little old, but it was a good stay at a great price. It seems like this hotel used to have an outdoor area in the middle where the pool is, but then they enclosed the whole thing. I was a little skeptical about how loud it would be since my room looked out onto the pool area, but by bedtime every night it was quiet. The room was clean, the staff was helpful and pleasant, and the bed was comfortable with nice sheets and blankets. The best part to me was the wingback armchair in my room. It was old school furniture that's actually comfortable, unlike the plastic hard chairs in New hotels. It even had an ottoman I could put my feet up on. I would definitely stay here again.

We were able to get early check-in. The front desk associates were very friendly. Rooms were clean and spacious. Bed wasn't the most comfortable, but all in all a good stay. Will stay again in the future.

The service and accommodations were very good. However, just a note to anyone planning an event at this location - one of the event spaces backs directly up to the pool with only potted plants as a divider between the two spaces. The event was still very enjoyable, but I can see how some people might find it off-putting.

We stayed one night in order to attend a graduation. Our room looked out onto the indoor pool area so we lacked an outside window so the room was dark because of this. The room was also chilly and the thermostat was set for heat but by morning it was only 65 degrees in the room. The hotel offered complimentary water bottles which was great except by morning they ran out of water. The beds were clean and comfortable. The room lacked outlets to charge cellphones which could not be located on the night stand. Overall it was a decent stay but the rooms could use an update.
