It is a nice place, and I dislike writing negative reviews, but sometimes a warning is helpful. Yesterday was my final visit to Raging Sage. Here's the scoop. Imagine yourself surrounded by a sea of very loud conversations in a very confined space. In this noisy space, I was making a discreet and respectfully quiet cell phone call. After my short call, the manager come over and called me out for talking on the phone. I asked if I was obnoxiously loud -- she said no. I asked if I was any louder than the very loud conversations near me -- she also said no. She said they prefer "human communications" (Darn, how did she know I was calling a group of 4 cats and a fish). So there you have it. If you like tight spaces with loud conversations, a single restroom that is often occupied, and no ability to make a phone call, this is the place for you! However, if you prefer a more quiet establishment without dumb rules, there are many other amazing coffee places in Tucson.

I googled “best coffee roaster tucson” and this place came up. I came in and bought some beans as well as a cup of coffee. The drip was delicious, and the beans I bought have been making me some very nice cups of coffee in the morning! Not overly-roasted, like some national chains I could mention, so it’s not bitter at all. Very smooth. I will be buying more as soon as I run out!

Terrible coffee. The baristas aren't trained properly so all the espresso comes out bitter. Have never had a good latte from this place. The coffee isn't bad but they don't have cold brew and instead poor coffee over ice. They claim to know what they're doing but it's clear that they don't. Management is even worse than the terrible espresso drinks that they serve. Plenty of other great local coffee shops in the area. Don't waste your time on this one.

Cool mom and pop place. They make amazing desserts. It is a great place to meet, relax, and chat. They have gluten free desserts, as well as coffee, chai. ..

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Tucson. It has a very comfortable and cozy atmosphere. The drinks are always delicious and the outdoor sitting area is great for cool days.

This place is in my top 3 favorite cafe's of all time. Easily the best scones around. Everything they do is of high quality, but without the pretentious hipster vibe of most other cafe's. They make a great cup of coffee too. It's roasted in house and has the right balance of bite and smoothness. It's a small spot, so it can be pretty busy, and scones tend to sell out quickly as they are made fresh every morning, but that never deters me. I'd be there every day if it was closer to my house.

Great coffee. Fresh roasts, they even refrigerate. I buy their beans when I'm in the neighborhood. They don't do light roasting (my preference) much. Good prices and service. I like the shaded patio. It can get a little crowded at times. Hard to park of find a good seat sometimes.

Terrible espresso drinks; it seems like no barista here really know how to make a good tasting drink. Do yourself a favor and go to Exo Coffee or even Black Crown for the good stuff. The baristas here are not that friendly either. The only things this place has going for is its nice space and the beans they roast for sale.

Good coffee & pleasing décor, but the overall experience was undermined somewhat by the crowded & pretentious atmosphere (& baristas). Parking can be a problem. The outdoor patio is a nice place to spend some time, but truthfully, Tucson has plenty of other coffee venues where the offerings are just as good, & the environment much more welcoming.

I'm a sucker for a good outside patio. This one is adorable! Scone and chai latte were both good, but sitting outside under an orange tree was the real reason I loved the place.

The patio alone is worth going for Awesome way to relax in the shade under orange trees. Their iced coffee was one of the strongest I've ever had. Check it out if you want to pass some time relaxing and unwinding.
