I was honestly scared to commit to my eye surgery, but when I was done I felt so much better

When it comes to something as delicate as eye surgery, it's essential to have a skilled and experienced surgeon. For the past two years, I have had the privilege of being a patient of Dr. Medina. Not only has my vision improved significantly, but the entire process from start to finish has been smooth and worry-free. I even recommended a friend for cataract surgery and they had great results as well. The staff at the outpatient facility in Boca are highly knowledgeable and make you feel confident in their care. After my own cataract surgery under Dr. Medina's skillful hands, my vision is 100% improved with no complications or pain. I couldn't ask for better results and highly recommend Dr. Medina for any eye procedures you may need.

OUTSTANDING VISION CARE
I'm not sure what I would do without this practice! From the moment you walk in, everyone is warm and welcoming. The staff know me by name which makes my visit so much more comfortable than if someone new was checking up on me for their first time - they make it feel like an annual event instead of just another appointment with glasses or contacts. The care and skill Dr. Medina has shown me over the years I've worn glasses makes him not only an excellent doctor but also someone who truly cares about his patients' eyesight! His techs are extremely helpful as well, always making sure that everything is running smoothly before heading into surgery or another important meeting room session with one of them present at all times if needed--which it usually isn't because they're too busy taking great notes during every visit while writing up reports afterwards which helps us know what's going on inside our bodies without having to ask questions ourselves (they'll send those completed paperwork straight back). I made an appointment with Dr. Medina because he was recommended by my ENT. WOW..!!! what a disappointment. My appointment was at 11:15am I was told to arrive 20 mins before my scheduled appointment, which I did. waited 1 hour and 5 minutes in the waiting room before I was taken to the examination room. From that point on I felt rushed, almost like is was an inconvenience to them for me to be there at lunch time. The nurse took me to a machine to take pictures of my eyes (??). Then the doctor came in and asked me why I was here?. I told him my medical condition which he didn't give much attention to. I told him that I was seeing double at times and he quickly responded "because you are tired driving at night" I also told him that my vision gets blurry after just 5 minutes of reading my computer or a book. He quickly responded "you have dry eyes" I also about I have ghosting (almost double vision on the outline of letters and objects. He quickly responded that "is because of your eyes shape". He also told me that my present eye glasses Rx where wrong. He made me read the letters on the board but they where super blurry the entire time and he said "this is your correct Rx according to the machine" He got me out of the examination room and he MADE SURE that I paid my copayment. He also made a comment saying that his staff was going to kill him because they are funning late for lunch. At that point I asked him how did he ca
me up with all of these information when he never dilatated my eyes or even look into my eyes for not even a second. I usually never leave a negative comments on anything even when I have a bad experience, but in this case is different. I and in a quest to find a solution to my health problem and Dr. Medina just did not care for me or my health. I drove a long way and was very exited to finally see him and I was totally disappointed.

I can't thank Dr. Medina and his staff enough! I had an amazing experience while treating a stye. The front desk person was so nice over the phone, that it made me comfortable since the beginning. I had already called other 15 different clinics and from the first contact with them, I knew they would take good care of me. I will definitely go back for my eye exam. I am getting better after a week and I couldn't be happier.

I have nothing to say but, I am full of gratitude of Dr. Medina and Staff. Not only they are compassionate and very understanding, they are also very patient. I know see thanks to Dr. Medina's hands and his years of experience. I had Astigmatism and Cataract in my Right Eye and now, I am able to see clear and with no Post Op issues. Thanks so much Dr. Medina for allowing me to have my eye sight back!! I will always be forever grateful to you and staff! Next year for sure, will having my Left like looking like new!! I cannot wait!!
