No pepper or peanut butter or even paper coffee cups at breakfast. The staff at front desk said there aren't any of these. I asked for a comment card at the front desk after breakfast, and the lady there (studying her textbooks) didn't seem to even know what I meant, and I didn't get one. The Valet Connection shuttle service was efficient, handy and prompt as usual, which we appreciate

Avoid this motel unless you are seeking an old, out-of-date, dirty motel with rude staff. Our room featured 1950s furniture that was in poor condition, dirty carpeting, poor snowy TV reception, burn holes, no hairdryer and more. In the morning we were greeted by a shower that we could not turn on even with extraordinary effort. We did not eat breakfast; at 8:30 am the only occupants of the very dim breakfast area were 4 lounging motel staff members. We doubted the safety of the breakfast items after seeing the condition of our room and the public areas. We stayed primarily because the room was prepaid because of the airport parking arrangement with Park Sleep Fly. When a refund was requested due to the nonfunctional shower, I was greeted with rudeness of the staff and the absent front desk manager took 72 hours to return my call. She would not refund our charges because the maintenance man could turn on the shower after we checked out. Avoid this motel.

This was the most ridiculous place I've ever stayed! I made a reservation, only to be told that my room wasn't available upon arrival. The curtain was down in my room. I had to take the light bulb out of one lamp to put in another lamp, because there wasn't any in the other lamp. There was a blunt under the couch cushion. There wasn't an iron in the room. The TV wasn't working! Also, the Wifi wasn't working either!!! Terrible place!!! Customer service people at the front desk was rude and ghetto acting, cussing and being loud.

I loved the bed. It was very comfortable. The bathroom was a little small but clean. It was quiet and relaxing. The night desk lady was very nice if I needed something.

We chose this hotel because we had an early flight. This hotel offered the shutter services to the airport while we were able to leave our vehicle on hotel site for a small fee. We will definitely use this service again.

Easily one of the worst hotels we've ever stayed at. People screaming ALL NIGHT! Management refused to do anything. Front desk did not take calls. We were close to calling the police. On top of that, front desk has no "extras," if you forgot something, (even though the sign in the room says to 'just ask'). Not the cleanest room either.

If I could give it 1 star I would!!! I checked in with family and were put on two separate floors. I asked to be put on the same floor as my family and the gentleman told me he couldn't accommodate that for me. However, my husband talked to him after that and he switched our room. The issue started when I was double charged the next morning. I woke up to an additional charge on top of the reservation fee the guy never fully switch our room so the hotel thought I checked in for one night into the new room. They gave me hell when I brought it to their attention and that I needed to be reimbursed. We also got checked out of our room without notice with our belongings still remaining in our room. The morning we checked out, we got back from breakfast and found two bed bugs!!!! Not a happy camper at this point. We checked out immediately!!!! I went to talk to front desk and she told me that I'm situations like that, that I would probably get refunded my entire stay!!! NOPE!! They told me it's nothing they can do about that!!! Horrible!!! Still to this day they have been screwing up my checking account with taking unathorized money putting my balance at an extremely low balance; I'm talking $0.90!!! They refunded my over charge and took it right back!!! Why? I don't know!!! I do not recommend this hotel to not a soul not even a homeless person looking for a quick night of sleep!!! Poor choice of hotel! They need to exterminate and hire new staff!! My experience was horrible from check in to check out!!!

I would leave ZERO stars if possible. These employees will lie to you and be incredibly rude, after days of treating you well they'll finally decide they've had enough and throw you out. London the desk manager was so rude and nasty

We had an emergency and found ourselves needing lodging. We are a big family it's hard to travel or stay in hotels but we do our best. We originally booked through Priceline then extended at the desk multiple days after that. Everyone was always nice, helpful and willing to go out of their way for our needs.

But all of a sudden today I called up front to add a night and get told sorry your room is sold today we have a large group. We have no rooms not even a single available. I didn't believe it as it's a pretty large hotel and there's no conventions or anything going on in Detroit that I'd think any specific hotel would be booked especially this mid grade hotel. But I figured whatever I'll go. I get back though and my husband inquires about rooms and gets told that they're sold out. However if you call them and act like someone else they stated they did have availability. We even booked an express deal with Priceline for this day and magically it picked quality inn. So we go to the desk and get told sorry we are booked call Priceline. They call the desk then call me and the man from Priceline states that the desk "London" said they are not oversold. So then we yell down the hall and the mAnager comes in and tells Priceline to go ahead and refund us but didn't state why.

Then upon checking Priceline, hotels, and choice hotels website itself it states that there are multiple rooms still available to book as well as double rooms.

So why the lies if we were bad guests why couldn't you tell us the truth instead of forcing us out with lies. If we did something wrong or were loud tell us but don't hide behind an excuse that 5 hours later looks to be a lie. Rooms are still available here and we are staying elsewhere when we would have rather stayed there.

Initially I was happy with my park and fly stay with Quality suites, but that changed when I returned home and needed the 3rd party shuttle service they use to pick me up from the Delta terminal. After a long day of delayed flight travel the last thing one wants to wait for is getting to your vehicle at 12:30am. To sum it up, we followed the instructions that Valet Connection (3rd party source) provided, we made a call and were told 5 minutes. After 20 minutes we made another phone call, and were told someone is pulling in shortly. We made one more call about the 35 minute mark, and just about 1:15am (45minutes later) in a deserted airport our shuttle arrived to take us back to Quality Inn to get our vehicle. When the hotel clerk asked about our trip home, I did comment on our shuttle experience. She nodded and commented as if the issue is a typical one.

Our clean stay at the hotel, the nice breakfast in the morning, and the pleasant staff had me considering that we may stay here again. However I'm sure we won't after our shuttle experience. I'll return to staying at the hotels on Merriman Rd who work with some of the Airline parking companies who routinely pick up, and not have to make a phone call to request one.

Quality Inn at Metro Airport is conviently located minutes from the airport. The service here was good and the staff quite attentive. The continental breakfast was hot and plentiful.

Nothing special but the rate was reasonable. The airport shuttle was pretty convenient and the front desk staff was friendly but the hotel was a little dark and run down.
