Love this pediatric office! They always take very good care of my little ones. Everyone in the office communicates with each other and knows what’s going on, from receptionist, to nurse, to doctor. They all work really well as a team and it shows! I’m pretty certain that we’ve seen every provider and we like all of them. Even when they are super busy, everyone is still friendly and takes the time to answer my questions.

This was unfortunately not a very welcoming environment and we found a different provider for our daughter. The receptionist asked us each visit if we had Medicaid and announced loudly "We don't take Medicaid!" so the entire lobby could hear. As a social worker, I work with people who do have Medicaid and I found this interaction to be quite uncomfortable. Insurance coverage is a private matter and should be treated as such. I addressed the issue with the office manager who was attentive and said she would handle it. I sincerely hope she does but wanted to advise others, especially those on Medicaid, that this was our experience.

Having worked professionally with Dr Omar as a nurse, I chose him specifically to be my children's pediatrician! He and his staff are incredibleall of them! Secretaries, billing, office manager and every Dr, NP that we've seen for my children are exceptional!

If you need a pediatrician this is the place to go. Dr. Omar and his team are amazing with children and with parents too. They have a walk-in clinic before 9am. No scrambling to make an appointment, just bring your kid in and wait to be seen. I have children with disabilities and I've made some panicked late night phone calls about health issues. Never once has Dr. Omar made me feel bad about that. I'll also say that as a parent of children with disabilities, Dr. Omar coordinates fantastically with all of our many specialists.

Dr. Omar and Dr. Kalyie (sorry if I spelled his name wrong) along with the rest of the staff are only top notch. We have been with Dr. Omar when he was still in practice with Genesis. He as treated both of are children for 10 yrs and have fallowed him and his staff every were. When he is unable to treat or uncertain of the condition he doesn't hesitate to refer you to an appropriate facility to dialogue and or treat you child. Dr. Omar dose everything in his power to keep his practice top notch and up to date, while keeping cost in show as not to try and pass them on to the Parents. When ever possible Dr. Omar has tries to expans the services of his clinic to meet the needs of his Patients. The 7 day a week Walk in Clinic is just one of these.

Dr. Omar and the folks at QC Pediatrics are amazing. We have two children and one has a number of medical needs. The walk-in clinic is a godsend! Rachel has helped us with referrals and even advocated for us to get multiple appointments scheduled on the same day (so we only needed one day off of work) with specialists when we were unable to make it happen. I can't think of any friend that I have that doesn't take their kids to Dr. Omar. We are incredibly lucky to have this practice in the Quad Cities.
