The staff is friendly and the other customers make you feel as if you're at home. The food was Great! Nothing like soul food from Q-Time!

My adventure took place on 12/15/2017 at 12:30 p.m. I came into the restaurant. There are 8 staff members in the restaurant. 5 of them were dressed up in their uniform and working in the kitchen on this day. The other 3 had street clothes on. I approach the food line. There is a lady in front of me. She was placing several orders at once. I was waiting for almost 10 minutes until I received acknowledgement of my presence / have my order taking. It was not until a gentleman had walked in and came to place an order that another server actually serviced me. Why is it that I couldn't be served before another customer arrived? They all seemed rather busy despite their only being 5 people seated in the restaurant. Despite being busy, they still had time to stare at me with for extended periods of time. Mind you, I had not been greeted at all since I had initially arrived.

When a server finally comes to the line, she asked me what I wanted in a hurried manner. She fixes my food and places it on the counter and runs off to service the other gentleman. She does not give me instructions as to what to do next. All she did was yell at me: "THAT'S YOUR FOOD!"

I could have walked out of the restaurant with the food and had me a free meal. When I turned around, there was no one at the register. I had to tell lady I was ready to check out. I had to say it twice. This woman was wearing street clothes. After I told her I was ready to check out, she continued to do something with a vat of lemonade. Then she proceeded to walk away from me. About 1 minute later she was ready to check me out. What was the point of all of that?! Why not stop what you are doing and just ring me up for the food so I can leave?!?!

She checks me out and gives me my food. I told her about the unpleasant vibe I was receiving from the server and in general from the restaurant, and she just dismisses me by saying: "thank you."

She didn't take the time to apologize or ask me why I felt that way or what happened. She just brushed it and me off like a piece of lent.

I will not be returning to this establishment. I do not like waiting almost 20 minutes for just one meal, especially since the food has already been prepared.

I do not like nasty attitudes. I do not like being disrespected. I didn't feel valued as a customer.

It is unfortunate because the food was delicious, aside from the dry corn bread. This behavior was unacceptable.

Q Time is one of Atlanta's best kept secrets. The food is great and the people are down home and friendly. If you don't know what down home is then go anyway and don't let the location scare you. If you're on a budget, the Q Time classic (chicken, dressing/rice, and 2 sides for under $7) is a great option.

AWESOME!!!!! The food was delicious. My husband and I had enough food for a second meal. The peach cobbler is heavenly! We will be going back. The people who work there are pleasant and personable. We enjoyed our visit.

The customer service from the staff was wonderful. The Turkey wings are good as well as the sides. Large servings for the price. The restaurant is also clean.

I try to support black owned businesses but the customer service and the way the little man with the glasses walk in from being outside not washing his hands to open your plate to see if the workers in the back gave you more than one little scoop makes my blood boil. He is so rude an and always give wrong information about the prices and over charge you for plate. Everything taste like it's been cooked in the same oil.

This is authentic southern soul-food in Atlanta's West End. From the BBQ wings to the heaping serving of Turkey Wings, you can't go wrong and will likely have food left for later.

Family-owned; Cafeteria style serving so you can see all the greatness right in front of you.

Finding a seat might be difficult as there are only a few booths and parking is limited due to the typical West End like infrastructure, but I'm here to talk about the food. Plenty of flavorful sides and dessert cakes that I can't wait to try.

I enjoy and love the Soul food but the price board is a complete lie!!! None of those prices are the costs of the meal, so once they ring up your food u've spent $20-$25 on one plate! Then they get mad as hell if you ask questions like "Why is my food so expensive? "Thats not what your board says?" Please put the REAL PRICES up on the price board!!! Then we will know!!!!!

Their breakfast choices are unbelievable! They have about 20 plus breakfast items ranging from fried fish, salmon crouquets, chicken sausage to sweet potato souflee', & eggs made everyway possible including boiled. The staff is marvelous, lovable, & they make you feel like family! I LOVE THEM ALL. I've been eating here since 1998 & the food only gets better every year. This is also a good place to get soul food vegetarian plates. They have a boatload of fresh veggies & sides prepared with no meats daily!Natasha Daniels.

Food is good. I really enjoy it. And the cost wont break the bank. If there is one thing that causes me to think twice about going here. And this might be nothing for others because it has nothing to with the food.

DONT USE YOUR CREDIT CARD. The system they use is so old and out dated, it could take you as long as 5 min to process. This is due to them using Dail-up and not data.

Why is this an issues to me? It is not only an issue of cyber security. At what point would the owners understand by speeding that process up, they would be able to service people faster. It has been this way for years. So faster services for the customer is not something they seem to care much about.

Other than that. I think it is a great place for a meal. Just bring cash!

The Ox-tails, cabbage, mac & cheese, sweet potatoes, dressing and cornbread muffin I had was good. My boyfriend and I are from Alabama. We stopped by Q-time before returning back home. He said "We should have came here to eat the moment we got to Atlanta" so I'm sure he enjoyed it too. He also got an oxtail plate.
