Unexpectedly reasonable pricing for above average performance on "New American". All around good menu, intend to return for more detailed review.
Fantastic. Sat at the counter for brunch. We had some pastries, breakfast sandwich with potatoes and sourdough pancakes. All top notch. Great atmosphere, service and food.
Highly recommend getting a reservation otherwise the wait is 1 to 2 hours on weekends. They had a special for squash soup and it was probably the best soup I have ever had. Too bad it was only just a special. Love the restaurant decor. Great place for a date night. Great selection of drinks and they have dollar oysters during the week if you like oysters.
We had the rehearsal dinner for our wedding in the private room at Puritan & Co. Rebecca was great in helping us plan a custom menu and wine list. The food was plentiful and absolutely delicious! Our biggest regret was having to socialize so much that we couldn't stuff our faces. Instead of a sit-down meal, we had a cocktail hour-style setup, which worked great for the number of guests we had (40). Even though it was a busy Friday night, the staff was friendly and always quick to bring out drinks and passed appetizers.
Great meal and great service. Creative, generous dishes well presented dishes with great flavor. Colin was friendly and informative. We had the scallops and the pork, both were great.
We had dinner there during Restaurant Week with wine pairing. The sommelier was great and spent a lot of time discussing with us the background of the wines he'd chosen for us. We had a great time and great food.
Dinner was better than brunch but brunch was okay. Half the meal was great while have was so-so. The prime rib is excellent and the crispy fish sandwich but the corned beef hash was not good.
Really enjoyed it. Picking out the pork sugo as exquisite. We're Aussie so needed help with the wine list. And we got plenty which made it special for us. Great fun, low key feel, polished service. All in all excellent
Every one else at my table had a good dish. Salmon, monk fish, cabbage pancake were all wonderful. I had a pasta dish with rabbit an peas that was absolutely drenched in cream To bad. The earl grey tea cake with bergamot sorbet was delicious. Service was impeccable.
Great food and pastries. The pastries and the main selling point, and it's worth sampling a few. I ordered a quiche for brunch and it was wonderful. The private dining room in the back is quite spacious.
We held a brunch party in the private dining room. Rebecca, the Events Mgr met with us twice to guide and assist in planning everything from the food and beverage menus to the flower order. Our lead server, Emily, was outstanding. We received numerous compliments from our guests about the food, which was fresh, beautiful and delicious. The pastries were amazing and the chef was both adaptable and creative. I suffer from perfectionism, lol, and this event kept me from experiencing any symptoms other than bliss from A-Z. We've also had brunch once and dinner once in the main dining room. Great vibe. Menu, wine and beer lists change frequently (great selections). Highly recommend!
