This restaurant serves the best authentic Indian food. The customer service was excellent and my server was very courteous. I had an order of butter chicken, daal tadka and garlic naan. The flavors and spice levels were all perfect! The owner even stopped by my table to check on how we were doing which made us feel like he cared about our time there! He is very genuine and kind hearted. By far my favorite Indian restaurant in this area!!! I highly recommended Punjabi Junction to all my friends and family.
The menu is great and food is really delicious . However what i liked best is their courtesy. The owner makes sure that you are taken care of.
I have only ordered carry-out for lunch, but the food is always delicious. The chicken biryani is the best I've had in the area. After trying various items on their menu, I have never been disappointed.
Best punjabi restaurant i have very been too. The service is fast, servers are super nice and will definitely visit again when in town. They deserve 5 stars. No doubt.
The buffet and a la carte is generally good. I think that the price is a bit high. I'm happy with the service and food.
Best food I had in a long time. Went expecting typical Indian average buffet quality but was pleasantly surprised. The decor of the restaurant is not much to talk about but the quality and taste of food sets it apart. The dal makhani was excellent, sag was fabulous, paneer was good, gulab jamuns were excellent made of real mava and not bread and maida. Even mango lassi was great. Will highly recommend and will definitely visit again.
The channa saag tastes heavenly. Ive never seen authentic punjabi curry the way this restaurant makes. Would love to get the recipe. Its my family's favorite dish.
Some of the best Indian food in Northern VA. My young son also gave it 5 stars. Super impressive with great service and wonderful food
Very good buffet at a reasonable price ($10.99 for a weekday lunch). It may not have the largest selection of foods, but what they do have is good quality food.
The waiters are respectful; taking care of plates and filling drinks. A hidden gem of an Indian restaurant.
Great authentic Indian curry. Great high spice level. Great customer service and menu.
I'd describe this place as 'meh.' The food wasn't terribly good and the cuts of meat weren't anything to write home about. I ended up trashing my take home dish while my wife relegated her meal to left-over status -never to be pulled from the fridge again!
Upon my previous experience and returning customer I ordered something that I had previously tried. Hoping to surprise my partner with some good food that ended up being the opposite. I picked up chicken malai tikka that is significantly expensive for the quantity they offer, but not a problem I will pay price for the quality. Ate one bite after taking it home, and decided to call management asking if the meat was undercooked or old, the manager/owner decided to tell me that he will check in the kitchen with the chef if it's old and will give me discount and hung up on me. I really wasn't looking for a discount on my food, but being offered food for the night I wanted to have good food. Horrible!!!!
There spicy levels are really spicy unlike other restaurants who on menu shows varied spice levels but serve the same bland hospital level spice.
Do Try their samosa, they serve 2 pieces
They serve Rice or thick Naan with every entree so order right portions.
I didn't like their style of serving, not enough cutlery & cups were provided based on the type of food ordered, tissues are not placed on table & you need to ask.
Delicious food. I don't generally enjoy Indian food, but I love their lunch buffet. I'm not a fan of spice, but the spice they add has good flavor and doesn't detract from the food. The price is very reasonable for a buffet and the service is good, they always check if you want more drinks. You should ask if you want more naan though.
