This is such a tiny store!! I just moved to the area and decided to check this store out since it's so close. They really have no selection and the employees here are not helpful with helping look for items. I suggest shopping at Walmart!!

I am so disappointed in Publix I can't help myself. My family have bought cakes from Publix for 40 years and never had a reason to complain.
On Friday I ordered a cake for my 10 year old step son for his birthday. A very friendly young man took the order. We discussed balloons and white icing with red trim. Unfortunately, he only wrote the white icing and red trim so when I picked up the cake it looked like a Christmas decoration. I spoke to the bakery manager who said if I waited they would fix it. (Who has time to wait before a birthday party). I then spoke to the manager on duty who agreed it was awful and gave it to me half off. I thought that was it until we started cutting the cake and it literally fell into pieces when it was cut. It was only held together with the icing. It was dry and looked like a poorly put together puzzle that was either old or dropped. How embarrassing to serve that to friends and family. I believe more training and some common sense would have alleviated this issue. Publix I expect better from you!!
