I love Publix. It is hands down my favorite grocery store. That said, this was a disappointment
The cashier took advil from a customer's purse (because she had a headache, wahhh) which was incredibly stupid (what if it's not actually advil) and so unprofessional. Then the bagger made comments about my food (cheddar popcorn) "that's so weird. Never seen that". Don't make comments about what people buy it's INCREDIBLY RUDE. Then instead of handing me my receipt so I could get away from these rude, unpleasant and unprofessional cashier and bagger, the cashier began to explain to the bagger where her juice was in the break room so she could take the advil. These two should be fired.

Clean store, personable staff--some have been there for years. Publix customer service is more responsive and congenial than any other chain grocery in the area. Meat is more expensive than other stores. Produce is well cared for. Lighting in the store is downright cheerful and bright. Variety of shelf goods is best in area--nice for cooks who need the variety! Thanks, Publix--glad you've been here awhile

The bakery is good, however it's not as good as the Fresh Markets bakery with the selection but their products always taste fresh. The layout is different from most publix but everything is generally organized. The produce department always seems to be short on fruits. The main problem I have is that they are seriously understaffed. I'd rather bag my own groceries so they can open another register. If you're not there first thing in the morning, the lines are brutal

The online ordering has disappointed me. Three times I have ordered ahead for lunch meat and/or subs. I do really good with ordering at the not so busy times because I do order by the pound. Each and every times it has come out wrong. The only thing I can come up with is it is not organized in the deli, the receipts are on the subs with what was wanted and each and every time it is wrong. I'm really disappointed with this. Customer Service from all employees is always great and Store cleanliness always up yo par.

I shop Publix for specialty items not stocked in other groc stores.
Today was assisted twice by workers who volunteered. One saw that I needed direction, another gave me assistance in reaching a product on a top shelf.
Everyone was cheerful.

Everyone is so friendly. The bakery always has delicious items and their sales are fantastic with buy one get one. Very clean and pleasant flow. No elbow to elbow traffic and never to long of a check out line.

I have made Publix on Eglin Parkway my main grocery store. The service is very good. I like the selection of products they have to offer. I buy most of my produce there. Masha, I hope I spelled it right, is very helpful and always has the time to greet the customers and is quick to help in our shopping needs. She is always working hard to maintain a well stocked produce department. Her dedication to her job and customers warrants this review.

Asked the deli lady (my luck it was the same person each time) for a pastry and she did not use gloves! Aren't they supposed to use gloves, I mean in this day and age, plastic gloves are every where. Although she didn't touch it with her fingers, she grabbed it with those little flimsy papers. I would've felt better about my purchase and eating it had she used at least 1 glove on her grabbing hand.

This is my local grocery store, so i might be a lil biased (no, i don't own it, its just the one I go to).
I'm used to going to trader joes for all my grocery needs, but seeing as there isn't one in the area publix will have to do. & I'm not all that disappointed about it. It is a quality store with friendly employees!

This store used to be great, mainly due to the staff. Sadly, the quality of customer service has diminished over the past year. The customer used to be always right. Now the staff's attitude is hit-and-miss. A colder reception and a certain cockiness at checkout. Even the customer service department has a less-than-impressive attitude at sorting out issues. I used to be prepared to pay the above average prices at Publix, but will now drive past their store and shop at Winn Dixie instead.
