Visited here for lunch and the $2 dollar taco Tuesday lets just say you get what you pay for. My entire meal came up to about $6 which was great, but i didnt care for the tacos as there was a strange after taste. It seemed to be only two small pieces of meat in each taco. The shrimp taco was ok, but i dont remember what the other one was, because i didnt eat much of it. The rice was possibly the best of all the items, I ordered. Maybe ill give them one more shot with the full menu and hopefully it will be better. The bartender was nice and was also my server at the table, but i wasn't drinking this day, so not sure what the drinks are like, however people at the bar seemed to like them.

We walked in and sat at the bar and was not greeted by anyone but a waitress which I should’ve took her up on her offer to sit at a table, but silly me, I thought I would get the same courteous service at the bar. BIG MISTAKE. I watched the two bartenders talk and do everything but acknowledge our presence. Five minutes after being ignored, 3 other patrons walk-in from the back of the restaurant and they are promptly greeted and asked what will they like to drink. I try to give everyone working in food service or retail the benefit of the doubt, but I had to show complete disapproval on my face and vocalize my disapproval for them to do anything. And to make the matters worse, the bartender takes the menu as my friend is looking at it! Worst experience to be my first experience.

Beginning with the layout of the restaurant as you walk in, it is a little overwhelming. You walk down 3 steps as you're being pushed into this confusing floor plan. We were met halfway by a staff member and got sat at 5:38p and not until 5:46 did we get waters and "greeted" by our server. He takes and delivers our order but the in-between time, as much as I dislike this behavior. For anything else I needed. Such as water refills, drink order, or even to ask for our check, I had to flag down other passer by servers, because ours had been sitting at a different table along 4-6 other employees eating and drinking.
I noticed the table next to mine talk and visibly look at our food plates, and they said "I'm sorry we were just talking about how we've been here and ordered a taco, a cheese quesadilla and a side of rice 40 minutes before you guys got here and we still haven't received it"
Upon receiving our food, the lack of quality was vibrantly visible.
I ordered a side of queso, and it had the texture and flavor of Velveeta.
My rice was dry, it lacked seasoning and tasted like it had been reheated for a few days. The pork, on the other hand, was over seasoned and there was mostly fat. For both tacos I ordered, the toppings that came with them were undistinguishable.
To end it with, and if you didn't get as far down on this review, I apologize but the Total bill had a service charge added. Nowhere in the restaurant does it say that automatic gratuity is added. I asked my server and he brings me the menu and points to the bottom where it does say that automatic gratuity is added AFTER 10PM. I questioned again, because it was barely 6:55PM. He said they always do it, but as a guest and also a service industry worker, that is bottom line, ILLEGAL.

DOUBLE CHECK YOUR RECEIPT!!!!! SCAM ARTIST SERVERS & MANAGERVictor &
Anyo!! Prickly Pear double charged my card when I presented them with the receipt and charge statement. I was told there was NOTHING they could do, so I basically just tipped my server $40 😑😑 I will NEVER come back here! After going back to the establishment TWICE, I gave up and counted it a loss. Management was rude and didn't even offer me a taco lunch! Unprofessional and clearly cheaters! Pablo REFUSED to talk to me and I was basically told, oh well!! Unbelievable.

Delicious tacos, an extensive menu, reasonable prices, a cool atmosphere, and late hours. So glad to have stumbled onto this place!

This was a horrific experience. I ordered a margarita with Cobo tequila..The manager told me it was 50.00 per drink.when in fact it was 15.00 per drink. This manager was very arrogantand his behaviour was very unprofessional.. Told me to just pay my bill and leave I will be contacting my attorney for a lawsuit..regarding discrimination.
