Awesome food & coffee. Love the art. Waitress was not interested in being there. Other than that, lived it!
Food was a little pricey but hella yummy! Bartender was sweet. Had a delicious berry cider (first time for me)
It was a good time!
Good food and drinks and nice atmosphere. Good pricing. Could use a few more options, but worth a few visits.
Great food! Great atmosphere! Back “Private Back Room” but for $650 including tip on a Saturday night for 14 people seems a little greedy by a restaurant owner. I’m sure someone has a nice yacht on Lake Michigan. If you got payments on it make sure you stay current !
It's a favorite with locals for lunch and dinner. Great salads and vegetable options, Cajun and comfy foods. Service is good but takes time at no fault of the one staff serving two or three rooms and the porch area. So go for the food and drinks but plan to order your food right away when you sit down, get the check too and pay cash to cut down on transactions if you're in a hurry.
This is our favourite place in town! Great atmosphere, food and beer selection!
Wow really good. We got the soup of the day which was a spicy lentil and the painted soup. Both were amazing. Then we got both the roasted vegetable salad and the crab cake salad. Shared everything to try it all. Absolutely delicious!
Always a reliable place to grab a meal. I had The Cider gay salmon with a side of garlic spinach, yummy. The beer list is great as well.
A great place with a wide beer selection, good food and plenty of seating for parties. Cool new outdoor area and banquet space in the back. I had the cajun tilapia. Yum!
Good place to visit with old friends and enjoy a dinner. They were very abrupt in escorting us out of the restaurant because they had another group coming in.
A fine establishment with fair beer selection, and kind wait staff. The environment is enjoyable too.
I'd like to preface the following sentiment by saying that my view on hospitality is hyper-critical due to my profession as a general manager of a fine dining steakhouse in Chicago.
I've been to Prarie Moon on numerous occasions and I've never had a less than stellar experience.
The food is cooked fresh. The owners are great guys and the staff is happy to provide hospitality. Bar patrons are always fun and interesting.
Well done Prarie Moon. Keep up the great work!
Went for Easter Sunday Brunch. We went later than most, and there was still ample food left. We had several other, more expensive choices in the area, but decided Prairie Moon's price was right with one cocktail included. It's a comfortable, casual place wtih singles and families, and with a lovely patio.
Good atmosphere but inconsistent quality. I know people who love this place, so I don't want to be too harsh with my review. If you get something that doesn't seem right, send it back. They're great about addressing problems (one time I got a fish dish that tasted like a pound of salt was poured on it, and it turned out that they used the wrong fish).
