It's been almost 2 years, but the service was quite memorable. The lady convinced me to have my first crab, I personally didn't like it not because it's not good, It just didn't have that wow effect. Everything else was fantastic!!!

Hubby and I were very impressed that this place had such awesome seafood. Don't be fooled by those negative remarks left from others. It's not true!

Service was a bit slow but we weren't in a great hurry. The beer was deliciously cold and the crab stuffed mushroom was Devine.

Unfortunately my meal was not hot. Just warm enough to call warm. I ordered mashed potatoes and got a baked potato. The green beans were woody. After my beer I ordered a Mr Pibb. Totally flat and undrinkable. And my steak tasted like roast beef.

My wife's chicken marsella was okay. Very bland and the recipe didn't include red wine sauce. What's up with that?

I'm sure I would find another place to eat if given the choice.

Food was good but service sucks! Guy came by 3 times and I told him I needed ice tea and ketchup and the guy said he would be back. Each time he came back he was empty handed. Must of been high on something to be that retarded.

The food is very over priced here! The waitress was nice enough, but for what the restaurant is trying to portray itself as it wasn't good service really. We didn't have eating utensils when our meals came, and water came after five minutes of sitting.
Also the toilets were very dirty. Like I always say, "A place is as good as it's restrooms".

I had a good experience my entire stay in Port Angeles. I ate here a good number of times and I have to say the chowder is the best on the menu. I ordered a steak medium rare which I was expecting to be about 1.5 - 2 inches thick me came out well done and .5 inches thick. They aren't a steak house, and it's obvious. The staff however made up for it because they were great to talk with.

Food was delicious. Coffee. The first cup was stale, so I asked for a fresh pot, which was much better. Even the fresh coffee, however, was really weak. Next time, I'll opt for beer or something else. Oh, and the dining room was understaffed, or I guess I was just there at the wrong time of day (mid-afternoon). The service, while sparse, was at least friendly.

Must have been a bad day but the entire experience was upsetting. Poor service. Wrong order delivered to table. Food was warm not hot. Table next to us had warm food as well. So we are not exaggerating. We walked out. Spoke to manager and explained the issues. Hope it helps. Never again

Staying at the Red Lion. Ate here on Tuesday and Thursday, ordered the same dish both nights. Night and day!! Tuesday: over-cooked, stale bread. Threw away half of my dish. Thursday: delicious!! Cooked perfectly, I devoured the entire thing. I don't know of it was a different chef, but the BBQ pork belly wagu burger was fantastic! I order this dish every time I'm in town and usually its one of my favorite meals. Give this place a chance But not on Tuesday nights!!
