This is one of the best lunch places around you can't beat the full meal 5 dollar special the taste does change from cook to cook but always great

We had been told "this place has the best steak on th lake" and it was Very Good, the staff were also Super Nice!
The reason for my 3 star rating is due to other things, the seating is all very tight so what ever conversations your neighbors are having, you get it ALL. The self serve drink station is crowded into the already over crowded front seating room and is next to the cash register, where there was a Line of people waiting to check out or to pick up takeout orders, this made getting drink refills a problem.
The hard working staff members also have to Squeeze past this same Line to access the kitchen and this creates a constant traffic jam.
With as good a food as they serve and as good a staff as they have, it would really be great if the owners would make some building upgrades to make the dining experience much better.
We noticed the Frustration on the staff's faces as they attempted to maneuver the TIGHT setting to take orders or bring orders to table, and overheard them complaing about it, Honestly, don't blame them.
Maybe during summertime hours when you could sit outside also, it would be some better, but having the cash register, drink station and kitchen access all in the same spot will STILL be a problem.response / report this review -

Yummy little dive - I went for lunch and had the Freight Train. It was awesome! That pepperhouse sauce really made the sandwich, though - it was pretty amazing.

Atmosphere was lackluster, but my gosh that was an amazing sandwich. I got the cajun and it was simple, buttery, spicy perfection. I mean, it's just sandwiches, but very very good sandwiches. Recommend.

Absolutely Love It! I get the special most of the time, but love all the sandwiches as well. They have a really nice dinner selection as well on Friday and Daturday nights.
