  Stopped in for fuel in our J-3 Cub & had to stay due to afternoon thunderstorms. Manager Mike Smith was extremely helpful and accommodating. Best fuel prices around, helped us shelter the cub in a hangar for the night & took care of our transportation needs. If your near here stop by, highly recommend!

  Me and my grandad would watch the planes take off.My grandad was also a pilot and he loved the airport.

  Great little airport!They have affordable fuel and a very convenient 24hr self serve facility. The terminal is very clean and the the people are very inviting!

  Stopped by Russell Field on my way to Hilton Head -didn't realize I left off my r-wing gas cap until I arrived in SC - called Russell Field and left a voice message - They not only went out on the runway and found my cap but fed express it to me in SC. Stopped by on my return - they wouldn't take a reimbursement for charges - just said 'stop by again'.
  Its very difficult to find nice, honest, courteous people these days ---- these guys are the best!!
  I'll stop again anytime I'm in the area and would recommend you do the same.

  BTW - they have great fuel prices too!!
