Had two used tires placed on my vehicle 10/14/2017. With further inspection while trying to replace breaks on my vehicle we noticed that Pope tire had stripped all 5 of my lug nuts. Called Pope tire explaining this, they even admitted guilt at time of having my tires replaced. I just didn't realize the extent until further inspection.
Went back on 11/11/2017. Waited for about 15 mins to even be acknowledged. Once acknowledged was told to bring my car into garage. Mechanic told us that basically the lug nuts were not stripped we just needed to peel the chrome back off the lug nuts themselves to EVEN GET THE TIRE OFF! The picture shown is what the mechanic (or whatever he is) proceeded to do with a SCREWDRIVER AND HAMMER!
When confronted I said "so this is really not how you proceed to take off a tire" he got upset and said he was done helping us. He told us to speak to the girl in the office. She rudely came out of the office with a mouth full of candy and said "so like, what do you want" before I could even speak she got pissed went over to the garage door open and basically told us to leave. Which we did with zero resolution. We were treated like garbage. How they instantly got confrontational was pretty much what I expected considering the area itself.
What they don't know is that I have never wrote a review in my life. I have never even been into a restaurant and complained about food or service. I have worked in customer service for a long time. So I try and treat people with respect. I wanted the issue to be resolved and for me to be able to get my tire off. The result is that now I had to stripped the chrome off all five lug nuts and purchase a different size socket to even be able to get the tire off.
I currently took time out of my day and submitted a complaint with the BBB. Please be aware, if you can help it take your money and time somewhere else. The girl in the office with the dark hair that has the desk in behind the front desk was literally one of the rudest people I have ever came across.response / report this review -

My Dad and I went to pope tires this past Saturday. We were greeting by Daniel who shows us new tires and went over the prices. Their service was fast and professional. We were treated very well and was in and out in a short time. My Dad and Jeff the owner have known each other for 20 years or more so it was nice for them to catch up. The two gentlemen that did the mechanical work was fast and professional as well.

We just moved to the area and I'm confident we've found a trustworthy place to take our cars for service. I just bought tires there and worked with Daniel through the process. Daniel is clearly willing to go the extra mile. It was refreshing to see someone invested in and proud of their job and workplace. There are average workers in all areas of business but the distance between average and great is often a cavern. I'll go back and give Pope my business. Thanks Daniel.

Visited the new location. Spoke w/ Daniel. Fast friendly ,and made me feel very comfortable about my 1st time buying tires. Unfortunately I need more work done, however this is a wonderful place. I'll stick with it too. "See y'all soon"

I purchased new tires for my Honda Accord. I drive. A lot. So, I'm really picky about tires. I purchased the Cooper CS3 touring tires and was pleasantly surprised. I have a smoother ride and the tires are light but responsive on the road. Both of which come in handy for those road "gators" on the interstate and avoiding the car that's parked halfway in the road since they just got a flat. The tires handle rain really well too. Daniel explained to me what to expect from these tires and he was correct!! He had also told me that my mileage would increase by a mile and he was correct. It was only one but I'll take it!!
I highly recommend Pope tire!! I love the personal service and the prices are reasonable. They also did one of the best tire balance, rotation and alignment that I've had on my car. I drive 128 miles a day and currently have 165,000 on my car, so I think I have enough experience to say this with confidence.

I had 4 used tires installed on my truck at their new Bower Avenue location. They were quick, helpful and the price was right. The used tires they sold me practically had the tread of new tires! I will definitely return here for my future tire needs! An easy 5 stars.
A word of caution, this Pope Tire location does NOT have a coat hanger in their men's bathroom. What gives? Do we live in the Sahara where jackets are unheard of? What am I to do, poop with a jacket on? Like some animal? NO. I suggest Pope Tire install coat hangers in their bathrooms or I will be FORCED to change my review to 4.9 stars.response / report this review -

I took my car there for minor repairs and my car radio was playing perfectly. When I took my car home I noticed that they turned the radio on security lockout. Now the radio is asking for a code to unlock it. I went back to them to fix it; they told me the boss was not there. I asked them when the boss will be there, they said they didn’t know. I called them the next day to talk to the man who worked on my car; they said the man is not there and that the man will tell the same thing as they told me the day before. Now, I have to spend money to fix a problem caused by those I paid to fix my car. I will never go there again and I don’t recommend anyone to go there because they are dishonest.

This is my second time here, I am pleased with their service. They are professional and have great customer service. They try to get you in and out in timely manner. I also appreciate how genuine they are. I can come here and get what needs to be fixed at a fair price. They make any car repair less stressful.
