  This place is great and cheap. Perfect for children and adults alike. There is free parking and you can get up and close with the animals which are all rescues.

  It's was such a nice family out doors kinda place to go and have fun. They have very Interesting background stories on the animals with made it more integrating.
  
  ***sidenote*** their bathrooms are a little trailer with a mean and women sides but they are VERY DIRTY and cramped. Go to the BR before you go***

  NJ's best zoo! I spent about 2 hours here with my family. My daughter loves how the animals walk around in the zoo. Some of the animals are not caged and have free roam of the zoo. very reasonable price for admission and the popcorn. I will be back again.

  We always have a wonderful time here. It's a small zoo, well maintained. We recently visited and the geese were pesty. They were stalking us for food, so we would throw popcorn to steer them away. It was funny but a little scary (some would hiss). They were our least favorite. The animals were so interactive and my 4 year old had such a fun time. We purchased the popcorn and nuts. The size of the zoo is perfect, we usually stay about an hour, hour and a half.

  Went during the week in July it was very nice and quiet. The staff is friendly and seeing the biographies of the animals is heartwarming. They also have SIX tigers. While it's somewhat in the middle of nowhere looking for lunch you kinda have to go off site or out of town.
  
  The deer come right up to the fence it's a great, quiet place. I do suggest having a keeper or a staff member wonder around so if guests have any question they'd be available to answer them. But overall the animals are well cared for and are berry happy.

  A great local attraction. If you have kids it is quick trip with access to a lot of animals. The Zoo tells the story of how they came to house each animal so you get a good idea of their mission. Also, military families are admitted FREE!

  Nice !
  
  We visited this place and were pleasantly surprised with it.
  
  There are bears, Lions, Tigers, Llamas with dozens of peacocks moving around. The place is small but has stories of animal rescues etc. all around. A gem of a place.
  
  Nice !
  
  Tips:
  
  - An hour or so is enough for it
  - The price of admission is very reasonable
  - The restrooms are outside the zoo

  My kids and I love the popcorn park zoo. It's affordable and the small size nakes it a great place to bring small kids. The parking lot can get full fast but I like going around opening time and don't usually have any issues. I love feeding the bears peanuts and the other animals the popcorn.

  Great zoo if you really want to be close to the animals. They have a great selection of big cats, bears, and monkeys. Just a fun place for kids of all ages

  I've been to most of the major zoos in the Northeast. This one is small, low budget, and so sandy it can be difficult to push a stroller. It's still my favorite. These are the animals who most needed help, and this zoo came through for them. Now we get to see them up close and toss them popcorn and peanuts. We visit every time we go to NJ.

  I mean, I love the place. I don't really go into the ZOO, mainly I check out the cats and dogs that they have for adoption. I'm sure they are taken care of. The cats, I love em. They seem fine. Once you walk into the rooms with the dogs, there is so much agitation and anxiety within most of these dogs. We checked out a couple dogs, walked the dog by the animal graveyard. If you are in the county and you need a dog or cat LOOK HERE FIRST. Give them a chance. Older dogs and cats need love too.

  I was there years ago and it was a wonderful experience!! The animals have a safe haven where they would have otherwise been killed or euthenized!! These people are Angels and Heaven has a place on earth at this awesome place!!
  Please visit! It's inexpensive and fun!!
  There's something for all at this little safe haven for our otherwise voiceless furry friends!!
