Suzie is amazing! (Worth the read).

Googled best salons in Wichita and Planet Hair immediately caught my attention more than the others. It has high stars from 50+ Google reviews. So I found that trustworthy. Went to explore their website and get more information and LOVED their website. Very easy to navigate and best part was their page on each of their stylists and what their specialties and prices are. I have long thick hair one of Suzie’s specialties so I called and booked an appointment with her Nov8,2017. I was greeted with a hello immediately as I walked in and they offered water, tea or coffee.
Once I met with Suzie we went over what I was wanting as well as a few pictures. I asked for a 2in trim, long layers, and a balayage with blonde. (I have medium brown hair).
Suzie did everything I requested but my hair rejected the degree of toner she used after rinsing the balayage. My hair turned out not really any lighter than when we started and it made all of my hair dull!
She was adamant about fixing it first thing the next morning and she even took time after work to look over more pictures and brainstorm ways to fix my hair.
I came in the next morning for her to fix it and we went over more pictures as well as how to fix it and every step she was going to take. We opted for foil highlights as well was some balayage to blend well. In other words a “foilyage” as she said.
My hair turned out absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Exactly what I was hoping for!
Suzie is incredibly patient and she takes the time to explain everything she’s doing and how it works as well as giving advice for hair care and products!
She took the time to learn my hair (it was my first time with her as well as at planet hair period). Now after learning my hair she made note of what degree of toner works with my hair and what process to do to get the color I was asking for.
I paid for my first visit at a reasonable price for my hair length and what I was asking for. My second visit to correct my hair was free of charge.
I WILL absolutely be returning to Suzie at Planet Hair for future visits! I LOVE my hair and my new Aveda damage remedy hair care product!

What do I love about Planet Hair? It begins with the team environment creating a true family culture. Tod, Linda and Graham are wonderful people who genuinely care about their stylists and those they serve. I have been enjoying Planet Hair' services for 7 years now so almost everyone has cut & styled my hair and it has always been a great experience. Highly recommended! 👍

Graham is a genius! He's a great visionary when it comes to hair. He's the only stylist I've ever encountered that works with my my natural waves instead of in spite of them. Love what he's accomplished and he's an awesome fellow with a great personality too. So happy I found him!

I am a regular at Planet Hair for one reason, Maria. I have tried other establishments, but she has set the bar so high with her classy haircuts and classy personality, that everytime I cut my hair elsewhere, all I feel is endless dissapointment.
Any man out there that wants to look good and doesn't really know what would look good on them, Maria at planet hair is your gal.

My apprentice stylist worked with me to decide in a flattering and easy to care for haircut. She styled it beautifully. She was sweet but still very focused. My haircut was easy to style the next day. I am so pleased! I chose an apprentice stylist to make the haircut more affordable, it was as good as the regular stylists- so shhhh! Don't let the secret out- let's keep these great haircuts cheap!

Went there yesterday to have my hair done my appointment time was at 3:30 I went early cause I'm new to Kansas and don't know my way around Kansas just yet so I left my house early just in case I got lost I would have enough time to get there on time. Well I found my way arrived there at 2:15 checked in told the lady in the front I was early so I sat and waited for my time 3:30 came and I still wasn't called so I went up and asked how long more will it be the lady in the front had an attitude she said I'll go check came back and said it'll be 10-20 mins more I said well I'm leaving. Remind you I've been waiting there from 2:15 bad customer service I've never waited this long to do my hair no matter where I went to top it off other people was coming in after me and was getting called back in no time was it because of my skin color cause I wasn't fair skin makes me wonder. I will never ever return to this salon and won't recommend anyone there either.

I have seen Jessie a few times now, and i have been more than impressed every single time. Jessie has gone above and beyond to make me feel pampered and give me the exact cut i desire. The rest of the staff is always welcoming with a bright smile on their faces as well. I would recommend this salon to ANYONE looking for a reasonably priced high-end salon, that offers nothing but excellent client service. :)

WAIT!!! One more thing!! The scalp massages are PHENOMENAL, and top the relaxation charts!

Planet Hair might be the best place I have ever been to get my hair done. First, the environment is like no other. Modern And Lux. Bright and colorful and fun with great, energetic music. The girls at the front were very nice and helpful. They got me water, coffee, and really anything I needed to feel at home. When my stylist greeted me, he was very nice and seemed excited to get started. His name was Tod. He gave me the best color and haircut I have ever had, not to mention an amazing style to transform my look. I am so exited to have found a forever home for my hair. I can't wait to go back and be pampered like a queen. I also hear they do manicures and pedicures so I will definitely be trying that out next time! It's a one stop shop for all your luxury needs.
