Pizza Vespucci has the best recipe for pizza in the Pittsburgh area for college students. However, their customer service is lacking. They constantly forget drinks, extra ranch, etc. When I have already paid for the product and they do not offer any discount compensation. Today I called because I was in the mood for pizza and he said that the fountain soda was out, and the usually serve the largest 32 ounce drink and today he offered me one can. One can of soda was supposed to quench the thirst of two people. When I asked for a discount on the pizza instead of the ONE can of soda. He said that was all he could offer and management was convienently unavailable. Moral of the story: don't waste your time with Vespucci's.

I am a senior now at Duquesne and have been ordering from Vespuccis for almost 4 years now. I have always enjoyed their food, but the past year their business has severely declined.

I now receive cold, lopsided, greasy pizzas, for 30% more expensive than I did just a few years ago. On top of that, what was once excellent customer service is now borderline offensive. The past few times I have called I felt like I was doing something wrong by ordering a pizza from them

Moral of the story - they used to be good but are now terrible. Do yourself a favor and avoid their business at all costs.

Food is all homemade and fresh, is made the way you want and is always made quickly, very good food, I see good and bad reviews, I worked there and can honestly say the food is all made fresh, I would definitely recommend Vespucci pizza to my friends, they don't just have pizza but a wide range of products

Being new to the area, I decided to give this place a shot. I got the 8" Gourmet Baked Italian and can honestly say it is about the best Italian sub I have ever had. It was loaded with meat, cheese, and fresh toppings. The bread was toasted perfectly, a nice crunch on the outside and soft and airy on the inside. I'll try the pizza next time and if it's half as good as that sandwich, then this place will get 5 stars from me. Prices are reasonable as well. A must try..
