Very friendly staff! I go here at least once a week. The servers remember you and even your order if you're a regular. The service is fast and the food is good. I love their salads!

Food here is delicious, portions are huge, and meals are cheap. Servers are friendly and you usually get seated quickly. Highly recommend!

Excellent food and service. We had the battered haddock. The fish fillets are huge and fried nice and crispy. Server was polite and very attentive. Will definitely be back.

Hugger Mugger is the "Cheers" of New Castle minus the alcohol! As soon as you enter your "extended family" of wonderful people welcome you, acknowledge knowing you, and make you feel special. My kids have long since moved to Pittsburgh, but whenever they visit, Hugger Mugger's, particularly for breakfast or lunch, is on their "must do" schedule. You don't go there just to eat, you go there to have that very comforting feeling of "going back home". I swear that they must have the best formula for choosing employees because they are ALL true gems. And it is always touching to see how respectfully and kindly they welcome elderly patrons who are eating alone. I'm sure for some going there might be the only time that they feel wanted and cared about all day. Just a truly extraordinary place with the best of people.
