Lovely little gem of a café in German Town. The prices are very reasonable, and the patisserie is delicious. I was taken there by a colleague when I was on a trip to the area, and was really impressed by the high standards. It is quite small, so sometimes it is difficult to get a table- we waited for a little while, at what appeared to be a quiet time.
Every dessert I’ve tried from there has been great. It’s a feel good place. They prefer you not to hang out on your laptop there, which is the only down side.
Really delicious cake and coffee!!! Nice modern, classy setting. Very friendly staff. Perfect for a little coffee break in the German Village
We used them for our wedding favors. I met with AJ, their general manager, and was lovely and so helpful. We ended up purchasing their pistachio macaroon and their shortbread cookies for our guests. We got to pick our ribbon color and they even fixated stickers I had made at home with guests names and table numbers on the bags they put together for us. Our guests raved about how delicious they were. Everything went smoothly with ordering and pick up. I would highly recommend
Fantastic place! Stop in almost daily for delicious coffee and baked goods. Everything they serve is extremely high quality and the cafe has a wonderful European charm!
I looked his place up while in town under gluten free donuts, pancakes, etc. Their name pops up for either. When I called to double check they carry only macaroons and a cake sometimes two. These were decadent cakes not donuts,or pancakes. Two items concludes their gluten free selection. This is not to say their items are not delicious, but that it should not be popping up as Columbus' number one listing for gluten free items when there are bakeries in town that specializes in gluten free goods.
Great coffee. Cool vibe. Quick service. Friendly staff. Had the ham and cheese croissant and would eat it again.
This place needs no introduction. This is the best bakery in Columbus and the comment comes from my 9 years of epicurean experience and experiments in this city. The pistachio and strawberry dacquoise are the best of the desserts that I ever had. Flavorful and not very sweet. This bakery deserves a visit even when this is not on your way or I would say that it deserves a special visit for that 6 bite pastry.
Pastries are incredible. However, it is a bit pretentious to not offer coffee flavorings. I'm not looking for some God awful Starbucks frappe, but a hint of hazelnut would have been nice.
Look at their cannele pastry in the pictures. This is their quality; a complete DISASTER!! I have attached my receipt too as proof.
High quality food and coffee (some even gluten free), but there's no wifi at this location, so it's not somewhere to go to work on classwork.
Small place. Stylish. I absolutely LOVED the macaroons. They are $1.75 so yeah. I wish they had cupcakes. Parking is extremely limited.
Guess this is not my spot for coffee and chill. Baking goods are great so 5 stars for that. However, I'm pretty surprised that they don't have wifi or outlet to charge your laptop. I like to enjoy coffee and cake with my laptop if I'm by myself so I can do some work. Could have spent $24 somewhere else. Oh well. It's a great spot for book readers or just to chat with your friend(s) tho.
