I live local and we like to come here just to relax. Great quiet place to relax in the hot tub and watch nature.
Great cabin experience. It had a hot tub with a great almost secluded view of the valley is nestled in. It was also clean and cozy. What more could you ask for.
We stayed there in 2015 in the Lincoln Log cabin. Had a great time and the cabin was very nice. We’re going back next week and staying their Pinecrest cabin. Follow up review for it next week.
Beautiful cabins but a lil pricey. Private areas and beautiful scenery
We stayed at big woody cabin. It was hard to get to you have to go up this steep hill and we hardly made it. The roads are so narrow if another car is coming in the opposite direction you have nowhere to go. When we got in the cabin it was dirty. We had to wash the dishes before we could use them. There was black mold on a chair and on the deck. The hot tub was dirty. The beds uncomfortable. The shower was plugged so water backed up onto the floor. Dog hair in the bathroom. The futon uncomfortable. Don't have a lot of good things to say about this place. I do not recommend this place to anyone!
Small and quaint. No WiFi so bring activities for at night.
Great place for the weekend, stayed here for one night and was surprised at how cozy the cabin was there was 11 of us and it never felt crowded or small. Had a creak running next to the cabin which was very relaxing. No phone inside (available down the road at the entrance) or cell service it was a great way to disconnect and enjoy nature. Highly recommend! Beds were a little stiff for my taste and but it was great to see that it was freshly cleaned right before we arrived smelled like lemon and the floors were still wet
We stayed in the rosebud and it was absolutely disgusting. The floors had probably not been mopped or cleaned in ages. My feet were black as well as our socks. There was a dirty pair of men's underwear by our bed in the downstairs room. A dirty towel in the loft bedroom. What was supposed to be a romantic getaway was slightly diminished by these unneeded distractions. For the price we paid we should of at least had a cleaned cabin. Very very gross.
overall we had an amazing trip. Cabin was private and great. We stayed at the Cozy Cabin and it was great. I was nervous because of some of the bad review, but we had no problems and enjoyed our stay. We will be coming back.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!
My husband and I rented the Rosewood Cabin and it was a huge disappointment. We actually ended up leaving after only spending one night in the cabin and we had reservations for three nights, and we did not even see Hocking Hills States Park. We were that uncomfortable and upset. Immediately when we arrived we noticed the cleanliness of the cabin or lack of. The vents have a large collection of dust and dirt. This was extremely unsettling to see considering this what we will be breathing in. After a day I noticed some irritation in my chest and throat, and would rather be outside then inside because it was easier to breath. Also this is a huge fire hazard with the build up of dust and dirt in the air vents. The floors were filthy with chucks of food, dirt, and debris. Cob webs were noticed throughout the entire cabin. The furniture was so tattered, torn, and worn down it looked like they garbage picked them. The beds felt like you were sleeping on a box spring not a mattress. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. The shower head was rusted and a thick layer of scum covered it as well. The hot tube was some what enjoyable. I was appalled at the conditions of the cabin and how you could rent this out to paying customers. We would have called the owner immediately, but because we are not new to renting properties from people for a getaway, I called a few days before our arrival to assure everything is still okay for our stay. The owner was very abrupt and rude. Our vacation which was supposed to be romantic and relaxing was ruined.
We stayed in the Tree Tops Cabin for 2 nights, and had a great experience! The drive back to the cabin was sketchy with many turns and hills, but we made it through. Our cabin was clean and cozy. Cell service was spotty, but we were in the middle of the woods, so that was expected. The hot tub was awesome, and all other appliances (grill, stove, TV) worked great, as well. Plus, Blue Rose Cabins are pet friendly, so we were able to take our 2 dogs! This is a great place to get away!
