  The Fairfield location is the worst I've had. The service is horrible. I called to place an order, was rudely told by some girl I needed to hold, then I was hung up on. When I called back, she picked the phone and hung up on me again without saying anything. I called back again and she very rudely says " your still going to have to hold" and switches me to hold. Needless to say I did not call back. I was going to drive there but thought it probably wouldn't end well so I refrained, just as I will refrain from ever ordering at this location again. My advice to Sammies is get kids that can at least handle a busy phone line without loosing it.

  Absolutely love this location no matter where I’m at I’ll always come to Sammies on Fairfield!!!

  First time at this location and the LAST FOR SURE!!!!!
  I ordered Gyros sandwiche and an Italian Beef sandwich, it took about 10 minutes to get it while other people came in and got their orders before mine.
  The Gyros meat was more like beef jerky and with very small portions, and the Beef was sprinkled with a little cheese under the meat and nothing on top.
  I asked if can get a little more Tzasiki sauce she said oh that's extra.
  THIS WAS THE FIRST AND LAST TIME THAT I COME HERE, NOTHING LIKE THE GRAYSLAKE LOCATION.

  I've been going here since I was a kid. The Gyros are top notch. It's my go to hotdog/burger/gyro spot.
