This campground is beautiful, very peaceful and well maintained. Bathrooms are clean and nice and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

This is a beautiful campground that has large, level sites. I'm able to leave my full-sized pickup truck connected to my 45' motorhome when pulling onto a site.

It's the best campground in the western Pennsylvania. Many choices of shaded vs sunny spacious sites. Quiet and safe. Good place for all ages. Closes at the end of October. There are some tent sites. Almost every camper site has all hookups..water, sewage, electric, cable and wifi,at least one tree, gravel parking and grassy area at each site, most sites are pull thru. Pool,tennis, horseshoes, fishing, pedal boats, minigolf, shuffleboard, bath houses, dog play area. There are others in the area but beware of campgrounds that stay open year round. My experience is thats where people go that are evicted from conventional housing because they are on drugs or cant pass a rental application. No better choice than Pioneer Park for summer/fall fun and safety, they are closed in the winter. It's a modern camping experience with all the amenities of home. Glamping.

We came here twice last year and loved it so we got a camper and we heard that the had a wait to get in. But after looking at all the other campgrounds we still decided that this one is the best and we ended up getting a spot.

We had a wonderful time camping again, this year. The pool upgrade is fantastic! One full side of steps which was great for my young children to be able to join us in the big pool and play on the steps. The mini golf was fun, too!

We wanted to go for a nice weekend getaway for memorial day with a small group of 5 people. When i called to make the reservation the woman on the line was one of the rudest people I've ever met. First, she scowed at me asking if I was young and going to party, I am 21 with a steady job and good credit. Second, she stated my credit card was declined, however, there was no reason for it to be declined as I had no unpaid debts and have a limit exceeding the costs of camping. She treated me like I was a worthless thug when in actuality high work at a higher skill job than she and simply wanted a quiet relaxing weekend. Don't go here these people do not deserve your money there are plenty of well respected campgrounds in the are such as Mountain Pines where I had a permanent site for the last two years.

We had a great experience with this campground. While we were only in here for less than 24 hours, we found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. Dylan was the staff member we dealt with most of the time. He offered information about the neighboring town (IE: dvd rental & ice cream shops) He was also the lifeguard the following morning at the pool and was very attentive and friendly to my kids. The pool is 9' deep in the deep end and my kids LOVED that !!! The campgound is dog friendly and they even have a fenced in dog park area for our dogs to get a little off leash time in. The campground is pretty flat and bikeable. The showers and bathrooms are clean and even have music piped in! We will absolutely come back to this campground when in the area again!

I've been coming here since I was about 13 years old. I'm now 23 and I still love this campground. There's a nice game room for the kids and a pool right next to it. You do have to pay a small fee to fish in the lakes but it is worth it. I've caught a few pike many trout and some decent sized catfish. You cant use a boat though. The staff is amazing and the bathrooms are always clean. There are plenty of things to do for the kids and teens. There are paddle boats, a basketball court that doubles as a tennis court, mini golf, horseshoes and may other activities. The campers are always friendly and inviting and the atmosphere is great. The cabins are well kept and have showers. Plus it's just minutes from the Laurel Mountain state park and crick for people who want to enjoy nature and fish the cricks. The best part is that it's only about an hour away from Pittsburgh.

This campground is very big and well maintained with a very friendly staff .I had a tent site on one of the lakes. There is plenty to do in Somerset with laurel trout farm and laurel state park. I was there for 10 days I will stay again for sure.
